Hello there! It's a pleasure to be here and I look forward to meeting you all and contributing to the site as I can. I'm not new to role play, or forum role plays, however, I admit its been some time. Any advice you have for getting started, or any critiques of my characters and role plays would be greatly appreciated. As well as just basic knowledge on how to set up things on the site, such as signatures, avatars and the like.

Once again, I look forward to getting to know you all and having fun writing stories together.

One important feature of this board: in an account's or subaccount's profile, there is a field "Character Bio Link". That's where you can put the url of the character sheet thread, and then a link to it will be displayed in all your posts beneath your avatar, so other writers can find info about your character quickly without having to bother using the search tool.

If you want to set up a signature, you'll want to create (or head to the Art forum and ask one of the lovely folks who do that here to make one) and host (many people use a site like Imgur) whatever you'd like to use. Then you head into "My Settings" -> Signature -> and pop it in there.

Welcome to Chaos! Probably the best advice I can give you to start with an active faction. It helps a lot to have peopel who can answer questions and pull you into the group RPs or be willing to do the one on one threads with you
