Nar Shaddaa not the best place in the Galaxy to live but it was the perfect place for a Scientist to have his office and lab. Since this was a major place to buy supplies and other things one might need or want for whatever reason it was the perfect place for a Scientist. The only problems where probably the drunks and thieves that lived on the plant though they mostly left the scientist alone due to the guard droids that stood outside at all times. " Sir you have been working for three days non stop, maybe you should get some rest?" One of his assistants said as she folded her arms behind her back.​

Vex looked up, disturbed from his work. "Can't you see i'm busy?!" He snarled, "Three days is a meager amount for someone who cares about their work!" He was driven by a madness only found in a creator. "I will not stop working until this is complete!" he was yelling now, the assistant scurried away, no one bothered The Professor as he was at work. No one. The man turned back to the table of vials and test tubes. His face was happy again as he murmured in the voice you would use to tell a child that he had done well; "Thats it, grow. Grow!" He cood at the petri dish, there was a small gathering of cells, slowly forming into something much greater. Vex put his goggles back on and put a few drops more of the protein rich-mixture in the dish.​

The assistant left the room after that and shook her head softly " he's lost his mind " she said deciding it would probably be best to just leave the office for now and come back in a while after getting herself some lunch (( i'll just play the assistant for the time being ))

(Right.)

It was seven hours later, night was falling, and Vex was still working in his personal lab. "That's it, you're doing better than any of my other creations so far!" He murmured, the cell clump had grown into a jello-like glob. It was the beginning of a new species -If everything worked out- Vex hit the pager button and called for an assistant.

The Assistant " You need something sir?" the young women asked as she stepped into the lab, her blond hair pulled back out of her brown eyes.

"Get your bio suit on, bring mine as well." Vex said, he slowly, carefully, deactivated the seal on a testing chamber. "Were bringing this little guy into the controlled test area." He waved towards the bio-glob, he had already given it a name. "Azaro."

"Yes sir" The assistant whose name was Sara said moving off to get into the suit before she returned with his. " Here's your suit sir" she said as she return.

(( she needed a name XD ))

"Alright," He glanced at her nameplate; "Sara. Bring me a containment cart, get the newest one you can find." He was completely bloody insane, he was never going to let anyone touch Azaro -no one- When she came back with it Vex said: "If you mess this up I'll make you wish you never set foot in my office." He snarled, with the ease of someone lifting a priceless diamond, he put the dish in the containment tank. "Now, we wait."

(Advance time to teenage/now?)

Azaro yawned and rubbed his eyes and left his room while running a hand threw his black bangs as he made his way to the kitchen to find something to eat.

"Oh, Azaro. Good morning." Vex said as Azaro walked into the kitchen. "Would you like something to eat?" It was Vex's day off, he was feeling quite cheerful.

" I would" he said with a smile and small nod " I take it you don't have to work today?" he asked as he sat at the table yawning again. He then looked back at Vex with his blue and gold hetero eyes waiting for a response.

"Yup. No work for today, Its about time I take a break don't you think?" He said, sipping a mug of coffee. "What would you like?" Vex asked, a loving glint shot through his eyes -a failed experiment maybe, but Azaro was Vex's fail experiment.-

" yeah i don't remember the last time you didn't have to work " Azaro said smiling " I'm not sure what i want.. we do have milk right? ..what do we have to eat don't really want anything sweet"

"We have milk." Vex said with a cheeky grin, "Chefs?" He said into the intercom, "Get my boy here something good." He grinned, and went off to refill his mug.

Azaro smiled and laughed softly " can we do something today then? just.. long as we stay out of the sun.." he asked.

Vex walked back to the table. "Sure, I'm free today, what did you have in mind?" He said, in an understanding tone.

" i dont know.. I get tired of being inside all the time. I could use some more books i've finished the ones i have two or three times each" Azaro said

"By all means, lets go out and order you some more. I wish I could have reversed your fear of the sun..." Vex said, his voice trailed off into thought.

"its alright i really don't mind it.. what's so bad about not liking the sun?" Azaro asked blinking a few times.

Vex shook his head, "Nothing, it just feels like my fault that you have to stay in all day."
