Not necessarily, you could create a sub-character account. It's attached to this account and is selected in a drop-menu. Go to your profile and click 'Characters' and add a character, then name it the character name you desire. Some people prefer their 'writer' account for OOC purposes. Otherwise feel free to rename the writer account.
