Hi Everyone.

I am so excited to meet you guys. I am not new to roleplaying but what I am new at is incorporating the SW lore into my Role-play. I have one question about the type of Lore that will be used. Is SWRP set pre-disney (Legends/LucasFilms) or is this set up around or post the current canon? just so I can get a timeline in my head about the events about what events can be talked about/incorporated.

This will probably be the only post from my master account aside from replies to this thread but I will be playing under the sub account “Lon Vondon”. The character is still a WIP but I will be posting under that name and I will be introduce them here when I am done and have a post about them under character creation very soon.

Hello there and welcome to Chaos the timeline is set 860 years after the movies. So anything from canon or legends is well considered a forgotten era of myth and legend! So both can really exist in this timeline. Hope to see you around!

The site encorporates both Disney Canon, and Legends into one. We are so far in the future, it just doesn't matter over all. However, if you need any help setting up your character, finding key events, or just a sounding board for ideas, please, let me know in a DM. I would be honored to talk it over with you.

As others have pointed out, Both are accepted and thought of as "Myth" or "Legend" due to being so far away from the actual timeline of Star Wars. It is also why you see people running around with Swords, just as much as Lightsabers. Because a lot of technology was pushed back to the "old age" due to a plague that pretty much wiped out a majority of space faring species.
