New round here, though I've been RPing in various formats for about 15 years. Was hankering for some good Star Wars forum RP that wasn't entrenched in the Sequels era and this one seemed pretty lively, with some creative wiggle room as far as canon is concerned.

Character I'm making is a Duros Force sensitive, obssessed with Dark Side lore and artefacts, though he's not a Sith or part of any other organised cult/religion. Got no plans for factions right now, though I'll probably join something once I'm feeling more comfortable with the setting and playstyle. Would be interested in meeting some characters who might guide/join him in exploring the occasional Dark Side nexus, forgotten Sith temple, hunt down lost treasures, etc. Also looking to make some friends who can help me navigate my way around the lore here as there seems to be a long history that I only have a very superficial knowledge of.
