Hello there. I just recently joined the server after a number of years of glancing curiously at the site and one previous introduction roughly around ten years ago. I clearly didn't say much that time around, and from what I can tell, IRL stuff came up. Now, though, I'm curious to try again and see how things go.
For those part of the discord, I recently joined under the name Lord Bob. The True Prime. A rather terrible name, I know, but one I'm attached to as an in-joke from an old Transformers roleplay server.
In terms of my intentions for the server, I have a few potential characters I'm interested in playing, including a Mandalorian (groan I know) Morellian who was cryo-frozen long ago and is only recently awoken. As you can probably guess, I figure he'd be a useful character for learning about the vast amount of stories and lore that this server has created and with the knowledge that he'll learn alongside me as a player. Another character that I have enjoyed using before is Nima Torr, usually a Jedi (though depending on the setting, sometimes an Inquisitor) with some focus on the mystical aspects of the force and mind powers. She's less likely to appear anytime soon, though, since I'd like to focus on establishing one character. I might also be tempted to make some other characters, but that really matters on what sparks to mind.
Apart from that, I've been a Star Wars fan for many years with a preference for the Prequel Era and Old Republic. I've admittedly not been up to date with a lot of the more recent content because I'm terrible at watching stuff, although I have watched some of Andor and the Mandalorian as well as all of the movies.
