Hello everyone!

Hope to be the Governor of Coruscant. If that's not available, let me know and I'll find a different planet.

Basically, I am interested in helping the Alliance (can someone quickly explain the differences between us and the Republic?), but I've gotten corrupt over time and may end up doing some shady things which I'll naturally try to conceal. So have fun with a corrupt politician in your midst

If you guys want me to do anything, I'll try to follow up on those things.

In general, we are more militaristic than the Republic. Our planets are free to do as they please and live their lives with very little interference from the Alliance. We don't have a Senate, that's for sure. So practically, we're a military organisation. You can imagine us being somewhat like NATO, just without all the political banter.

Am I right in assuming that I'd only be handling political affairs, and have little to do with the military? Or will I be tasked with handling or associating with the military on Coruscant?

Yeah, you'd pretty much only be overseeing the political affairs of the planet.
