Hi friends, I am Mike and I was dragged here by some of the Pentastar Alignment guys from a mutual Star Wars RP forum. I am in my late twenties and have been writing in Star Wars communities off and on for about sixteen years now. I am pretty sure my friends want me to help them take over the universe, but already I have a lot of ideas on how to integrate old characters and new concepts and so many ideas you guys really too many ideas someone help my god its full of stars

I hope to have something resembling a character sheet posted in the next few days.

Thanks for the welcome, guys.

I do have a couple small questions, if any of you have the time. I am tinkering with a character template now, and am interested in transferring my Force rank from another board. Should I bring that up when I post my bio, or is there a seperate thread/process for that? I've been a Master and OOC Force Council member at my previous board for several years and can provide example RPs, but am content to request a Knight rank (or start over, if necessary).

Second question is it is moderately important because of character reasons for him to be from a minor noble family, although the planet doesn't necessarily matter. In my first draft I chose Dubrillion. I know currently its owned by Mandalorians, but the events concerning it are set chronologically a while before it was owned, I think, and I don't plan to make any sort of claim of ownership or relevance to the planet. Is that going to be an issue?

And the last question is, will you guys get mad at me if I write overly thought out dossiers on ship crew NPCs as long as I promise to only consider them one entity in combination with my player character as far as rules stuff goes?

You can request a transfer for your character in the bio thread. As per the rules you need:


TRANSFERRING YOUR CHARACTER

A. Please list all role-plays at your previous board that attribute to your character's training, e.g. Rank Promotions, Force Sensitivity Discovery, Neutral Character Lightsaber Training

B. Please list what roleplay board you're transferring from.​

If you put transfer in the title, it'll get someone's attention and you can always edit it out later if you want.

- Character background details are not a problem- you can play what you like! Especially in this case, where it's not a "This is MY PLANET!" type deal, you sound like you are perfectly fine to have him be a minor noble.

- You can make complicated NPCs! You may (but are not required to) submit them to the Codex forum for that. You can also just have them in your bio.
