Character creation wise is very simple. Fill out the form linked below with as much or as little as applies to your character concept and then rock and roll. Specific questions can be asked as you go along if you have them. Then post it in that section of the forms so we can admire it from afar as needed.

Great question.
We don't have an economy system here. You are expected to RP your wealth according to your own rules, common sense, and general occupation. In other words, you can own as much stuff as you want.
For PvP'ish fairness'ish'ness:
- A character may not own a starship larger than 400m in it's largest dimension. (AKA, No private Star Destroyers.)
- A character may fly /captain a ship of 1000m if they are in a Minor Faction.
- A character may fly /captain a ship of 2000m if they are in a Major Faction.
- Ships over 2000m are considered special and must be flown only with your Factions permission.
I'll find these rules later today and link them. I think they are in the Factory somewhere. Lulz.

There isn't a hard rule about starting equipment *really*. If you want to have pretty typical, starting character type stuff, that is no problem whatsoever. I.e. a blaster rifle, a freighter, etc. If you want super swaggy kind of stuff to start is where it gets interesting. If you want to create custom tech, ships, etc, we have a whole section of the forum called "The Factory" where you can submit custom stuff to your heart's content! The staff will work with you to make sure it is balanced and not OP.
