Hello, everyone!

I'm new to this forum, and after searching forever for a good looking Star Wars roleplay site, I think I found a gem. I've always been fascinated by Star Wars and the endless possibilities of what can exist in the canon and extended universe. While I've only read a few of the EU books and comics, I have done extensive research on much of the Star Wars universe.

I'm a freshman in high school and many seem to mistake me to be older considering I act in a much more mature manner when it comes to online affairs. I want to go into the field of computer science when I grow up and I hope to be able to succeed in that field. A few questions before I continue.

1. When creating a character that is force-sensitive, can we start them off with training with the force or do we have to find someone to RP as our master?

2. Are there any recommended sites I could use to make an avatar for my characters? I'm not much of an artist and I don't want to steal art from others.

3. How active is this community? I want to figure out how active this community is so that way I can figure out how often I should post, and not get frustrated if people don't respond fast. I suppose the speed of a response on this can help me gauge activity on the site.

I hope to have a wonderful time on this site and I hope I can improve the experiences of all RPers.

Howdy man! Glad to have you with us. And don't worry I've read only one EU book and maybe half a comic arc lol, you'll fit in just fine here!

To answer your questions...

1) All characters must start off as a Padawan, Apprentice, Acolyte or other equal rank. While you can get a formal master to train you and raise your rank, its not necessary. Faction admins or even the site admins may decide to recommend you for an upgrade! Just keep writing, and having fun and you'll get there. Keep in mind though, your rank does affect the strength of your abilities. Just talk to other writers if you need help figuring stuff out.

2) Meh, just use google...just provide a source link or something.

3) As a site overall, we're pretty active. On an individual basis, most people make a couple posts to each of their threads a day from what I've seen. Others can pump out obscene amounts. Just depends on the person. From what I've seen though its typically 1-3 posts a day to each thread. Just start too many threads and you can't keep up.

And yeah, Dax has got you covered on the questions. Using other images as a play-by is not stealing, just provide a source. Also yeah, we are a fairly active community, usually have anywhere from 30-150 people online at a time with posts basically every day.

Welcome and like he said above use Google. I also recommend going through Wookieepedia since you can sometimes find little used images.
