So, I would like to use one of my character concepts that would require I create a new species. A sentient and highly force sensitive one, at that. I have a decent few images that I can use to represent the species. I'd probably have to create the planet for them to, unless I can just plant them on a planet and inject their history into it.
Anyway, this species would be highly telepathic and empathic, making them both ideal force users and somewhat disadvantaged against some force users. They would be scholarly and wise, while also having a warrior caste and monasteries with philosophical practices. Additionally, with the prior character I created with this concept was sold into slavery in early childhood before being adopted by the Jedi, which I don't know of it'd be plausible in this setting.
Sorry for the rambling. I'm just trying to see if I can try and develop a little bit with you guys and have some rapport before I start. It'd be great to have some stuff planned out for her beforehand.
Any suggestions or thoughts?
