Advanced Sensor Management Suite:

Strengths:

Range: Long-range fire support capable the Hellstrom while a lumbering giant, is capable of aiding the fleet in battle with her plasma weapons.
Defense: Built with the same design philosophy as previous battlecruisers. The carrier can withstand a great deal of damage, and capable of holding out through a prolonged engagement.
Squadrons: With thirty-eight squadrons aboard the vessel, the Hellstrom aims to subject opponents to Sith-Imperial swarm tactics.

Weaknesses:

Range: Carries no short range/close range weapons leaving the Hellstrom vulnerable to smaller, faster and more agile ships.
Lumber: Very low maneuverability coupled with a low-speed rating equates to the carrier is more of a lumbering giant.
Blindspot: Imperial arrogance at its finest, the rear has the least amount of weapons coverage.
Escorts: Reliant on escorts and squadrons, the Hellstrom needs the escorts and her squadrons to help fend off against enemies who manage to get in close enough to cause damage. While also keeping the rear of the ship free from enemy fire as well.

Description:

The Hellstrom had barely begun to show its capabilities when it debuted underneath the First Order’s banner. Since then, both times and nations have changed, the new Hellstrom brought out by Lord Admiral Fiolette Raaf has undergone several changes. The first of which saw the ship extended in the size, the second saw her holding more squadrons than she had previously. The last had been the nation in which she served, bearing the mark of the Sith Empire the Hellstrom was produced as an Elite Carrier for the Sith.

Her build type came from the same philosophy that oversaw both Resurgent and Dowager developments. Defensive measures rated high, with an average armament for a ship of her size and class. The ship would still be capable of fire support while sending out waves of fighters, bombers, defenders or whatever attack craft that she may hold.

Among the vessel’s weaknesses were her weapon’s range, as she held little to no short-range weaponry. Speed and maneuverability were also low and very low respectively, and like many of the Sith Empire’s ships, she bore little defensive capabilities at the rear of the vessel. In her favor were her long-range weaponry and the high rated defense that was made up of advanced hull construction, shielding, and electronic warfare countermeasures.

As her primary function is that of a fire support carrier, the vessel's secondary function is that of an emergency responder. Housing five support squadrons along with ambulatory and fire response hangars the ship is more than ready to handle just about any emergency. Triage facilities, trauma centers, and emergency operation coordination centers lend to Hellstrom's secondary role.
