Help if possible! Please...

So I have this character, an Artificial Intelligence and I have his dev thread and submission all ready to go. But since AI's are restricted I have to run it through the factory? Which is closed I suppose. Do I just suck it up and move on or do I talk to someone about it?

Just wait it out for the factory to be reopened if you like the concept that much.

You'll need to wait for the factory to be up and running if it is to be used as a droid, as all non-canon droids require a factory submission and approval prior to use as a character.

• Mobile or powerful artificial intelligence requires a development thread and factory submission as laid out in the Factory's Restricted Items List.
• All droid player characters with non-canon droid bodies require an approved factory submission before they can be RP'ed.

You can, however, play it off as a droid with a canon body and have an NPC develop your A.I until the point that the factory is open.

It was my understanding that the new official consensus was that so long as nobody reports something or complains about it, it does not have to ever see the factory. I imagine this goes over AI and Droids as well.

However, the factory is closed and no one is going to report you if you do the work now and shove it in your blog for later. That's what a few of us are doing already.
