APPEARANCE:

Outside of armour, Hemlock is an amorphous mass of vine like muscles with a ruddy green appearance due to the chlorophyll replacing haemoglobin. There is a mucus layer on their skin that allows the tendrils to move past each other without friction, this has a rather unpleasant odour and is also mildly neurotoxic, particularly to insects but large amounts can harm larger species. Hemlock creates yellow flowers when in the right environment that are around two centimetres in diameter and have eleven diamond shaped petals that twist into a shallow bell shape surrounding a short red stamen.

Hemlock does not have a face or mouth but has eyes that looks like light blue bulbs on stalks. Trinity has counted five individual stalks but the actual number could be more or less than that depending on the current situation.

They are always seen in their armour that conforms their body to a humanoid shape for practical and social reasons, but tendrils can extrend several metres out of the armour if necessary.

STRENGTHS:

Gen'dai physiology - Absurd regenerative properties and decentralisation of internal processes make Hemlock exceedingly hard to kill. They are also extremely strong and adaptable.
Drengir physiology - Several similar traits to Gen'dai regards decentralisation and regeneration but also able to survive off of sunlight and water if needed. Capable of interacting on a biological level with plants.
Training - In Conjunction with their biological advantages, Hemlock has had the best training that the Empire can provide and has earned their wolfguard rank entirely legitimately.

WEAKNESSES:

Species Weaknesses - Erm…. Can't fly? Has a physical presence that can be targeted by enemies? Those Count right?
No touching - Being covered with a neurotoxic slime and having sterilised plant reproductive organs makes romance a long shot.
Tech and force dependencies - Without their biochip active, Hemlock must rely on telepathy to communicate which may not be reliable if blocked or surrounded by a lot of force disturbance. Without their suit, interacting with systems designed for human like species becomes more difficult.

NEUTRAL TRAITS:

Loyalty - Utterly loyal to the Eternal Empire via training and control chipping, the only thing they are more loyal to is Trinity Harris specifically as her DNA has been used to force Hemlock to perceive Trinity as the role of what would normally be the leader of a drengir colony.
Strong silent type - Hemlock does not speak much, he has little need to and will stand for hours on duty not uttering a word.

BIOGRAPHY:

Hemlock was created as the third iteration of project Sunflower. Sunflower 1 and 2 both failed to reach maturity and had to be euthanised due to complications. Sunflower 3, later renamed Hemlock has met and exceeded expectations.

Hemlock was created by the work of noted Xenobotanologist Trinity Harris working with contracted geneticists of Darth Imperius Darth Imperius . It was a top secret project and the final coding of the specimen is known only to Overseer Harris although The expertise provided by the contractor proved invaluable and the company has subsequently been given a greater priority tendering position by the Overseer.

They created a powerful bodyguard. Only mildly force sensitive and firstly a scientist, Trinity found herself to be the vulnerable link in the Eternal Chain, so she wished to address that. The Wolfguard provided her with absolutely adequate security and for the first years of her tenure she got to know them well. But she was curious what she might create. The result was Hemlock a hybrid of primarily Drengir DNA with a large portion of Gen’dai. The specimen proved extremely physically powerful, utilising the best of bother of his heritage and once installed in armour and implanted with his biochip, was ordered to carry out Eternal Empire military service and training to become a Wolfguard his own right. He succeeded and is now a valued part of Trinity’s entourage, being utterly loyal to her.
