Arbra
Early Morning

Arbra was hardly the place for siege and warfare and the like. It reminded him of Alderaan, just those trying to live out their lives and be the best versions of the themselves. Hardly anything dangerous ever happened here. It wasn't to far of a jump from here to Naboo. The Jedi Master had some ties to this place as he had worked with the people here on several occasions on peaceful endeavors and agricultural aide and supplies. However when the word came through of the droid attack. He wasn't sure who or what was funding this horrific attack. Several homelanders dead, families torn apart by this.

Kahne sprung into action immediately, calling upon the aid of his friends in the Alliance that had joined him on Naboo. As well as calling up on a squadron from the Galactic Alliance. Those that had passed from this world were buried and defensives measure were set in place. A scout of the droids placed their count in he early hundreds. After speaking with the local citizens and even the planetary government place here. The Jedi Master would place themselves, his allies between the droids and those that couldn't fight. Everyone else that was able and willing were called to service and to fight.

The Jedi Master stood atop the speeder, peering through the binoculars several klicks in the distance. They were on their way.

"How much time?"

"Twenty minutes, twenty five at the most. Do a last check of everyone and ensure they are ready to go." The Jedi Master tapped his comlink, reaching out the the Scarecrow squadron that was sent to assist by the Galactic Alliance.

Idris Rozveeil Idris Rozveeil "Commander Idris do you read me? The rogue droids are twenty-five minutes out. We wait till they close in and then you will execute your bombing run. My team will then go in and take care of whatever else is left."

"A-firm."

Idris had just climbed up the ladder built into the hull of his X-wing and sunk into the cockpit when he received Kahne's call.

"Twenty-five minutes out, copy," he repeated as he transferred comms from his earpiece into his flight helmet. After taking the bud out of his ear and fitting the sunbonnet on his head, he secured it in a cubby on his dashboard and fastened his chin strap. He was in the habit of reading back information to ensure understanding. "We got an approximate rate of travel for 'em, Master Jedi? My fighters aren't in the sky yet. We can't afford to burn that kinda fuel waiting to intercept."

As he waited for Kahne's response, he buckled his seat belts.

"We got an approximate rate of travel for 'em, Master Jedi? My fighters aren't in the sky yet. We can't afford to burn that kinda fuel waiting to intercept."

"Unfortunately I do not Idris. I'd say give it twenty minutes and then take to the skies. If the bombing run happens before they get close enough to combat, we will ride out and meet them."

Kahne glanced down the line at those that stood with them, volunteers and the like rising up to defend their homes and their families. The Jedi Master made sure they were properly armed and armored for this fight, he wasn't going to leave them high and dry. They were not soldiers, but they still needed to be protected regardless.

Kahne couldn't defend all of them, so they would have to rely on each other as well as what skills they had themselves. The other plus was that his alliance buddies on Naboo had volunteered to join him. Those that had fought with him on Lothal many years ago. He never asked them, but they had developed a strong trust and respect for Kahne that they would follow him anywhere.

Kahne could sense a quiver of uneasiness or perhaps worry amongst the volunteers and he reached out with the force to give them that semblance of hope and courage.

"Steady my friends, trust in yourselves and each other. We will get through this."

"Takeoff in twenty, copy. Standing by for scramble."

Precisely at the end of twenty minutes, Idris fired up his engines and led his squadron to a 350-meter altitude. A few of his wingmates followed him out of the specific clearing he had been sitting in, while other X-wings rose from a handful of other gaps in the dense jungle canopy. One combat box formed behind his craft, another far to his right on his second-in-command, Anara Dene.

He switched his comm from Kahne's frequency to Scarecrow Squadron's. "Prep for payload away," he directed his pilots.

"Prepped," came Dene's voice in a moment.

"Approaching tallies. Staggered drop on my go. Do not release unless you see paint directly ahead. We're tryin' to limit damage to the jungle." This biome didn't normally naturally catch fire, but sentients' activity could easily accomplish the unnatural. Hopefully, all fires caused by dropping explosive ordnance into the foliage would burn out, given that the environment was so humid. But, even if the risk of spreading fire was probably practically low, Idris didn't want to cause undue damage. The people of this region of Arbra relied heavily on this stretch of jungle for construction materials, fertile soil, and a productive ecosystem to hunt and gather in.

Soon enough, a mass of dots lit up his radar screen. He waited until they were closer and then pressed a button on his joystick. "Go!"

Most of the fighters followed suit. Together, their bombs dropped through the jungle canopy before rebounding a hundred or so meters into the sky as a burst of air and fire.

The whole double formation began to bank widely to the left.

Dene was the first to break radio silence as their handiwork came into view. "Beautiful fireworks, Scarecrows!" she exclaimed.

Idris switch back over to Kahne's comm channel. "Bombing run executed, sir." If the Jedi and his ground forces were on high enough ground, they would been able to see the plumes, as well as the starfighters. "Move in at will. Hope we didn't leave too many for ya." Specifically, he was concerned for the civilians, as he knew Kahne and his other forces could handle themselves.

Along the front lines you could see several alliance personnel utilizing their binoculars to keep track of the droid assembly. The wind seemed to pick up slightly as Kahne glanced up and down the line. The Jedi Master noted the last words via radio transmission from Idris Rozveeil Idris Rozveeil

"Forward....." The Jedi Master voiced as they moved up, just as the bombing run was seen coming across the view. Perfectly executed, from what he could see. If this was as successful as he hoped then there wouldn't be too much resistance from them. And he prayed that among the wreckage there was some indication as to where these came from. Who programmed them to launch such an attack against a peaceful community.

While the Jedi Master, mastered his own emotions long ago. It still brought pain to his eyes, he was tired of innocents dying at such attacks.

"Bombing run executed, sir."

"Great job Idris. You have saved many lives today my friend." Kahne spoke, grateful for their contribution and aid in this fight.

"Alliance personnel stay to the middle. Secondary forces flank them and round up the stragglers." The Jedi Master shouted as he broke off into a jog and then run as blaster fire soon lit up the area. Flashes of red and blue could be seen amongst the shouts and charges. Kahne's lightsaber blade came to life in a quick twirl as he deflected several bolts coming his way.

The bombing run did much more good than he realized as the battle went underway. It wouldn't be too long before this pieces of metal scrap were routed.

"Thank you, sir," he replied to Kahne. "Let us know if you need further air support. Returning to b—"

Dene's voice came over the squadron's dedicated comm line again. Kahne wouldn't be able to make out much more than the general sound of a commanding female voice, though he would probably be able to listen more closely if he focused with the Force. "Stay in formation, Kuna."

If anyone on the ground was watching the air show, they could see how one X-wing had fallen out of line as the squadron was finishing its wide turn back in the direction they had originally come. A few other fighters amended their flight paths slightly to avoid collision.

"S-something's wrong with my controls..." a male voice responded.

"What?"

"Something's wrong with—!" Before he could completely repeat himself with much more gusto, bursts of blaster fire from the tips of each of Kuna's attack foils cracked shrilly through the air. The plasma found no purchase, instead fated to travel in a line out over the planet until the energy eventually faded into the atmosphere.

"Feth!" someone exclaimed, surely echoing two dozen others' thoughts that weren't broadcast over the frequency.

Someone else yelled before Idris could, "Scatter! Scatter!" The combat boxes broke up immediately.

There were more left that he cared to realize. The Jedi Master had moved quicker than he had before, by aid of the force to subdue these droids and pick apart what he could. The Master could sense hesitation and even a tremble of fear amongst his allies and did what he could to combat that fear. His own aura pouring through the battlefield like a beacon in the dark. Guiding those further and pushing them to greater heights.

Kahne came to a stop as the enemy in his vicinity had been elminated and they began to thin the lines. However it was at this time he felt a disturbance in the force, something small but still worried him. "Commander, do you copy?"

The Jedi Master could sense an increased paranoia almost, something was indeed going wrong.

"Commander, what is your location?!"
