This is my first time RPing ever, Could someone take me under their wing? Teach me the ropes of SWRP? As for changing your photo, click on the arrow in the top right which says your character name and then click "My profile"

Then from there, click "Edit my profile" in the topic right and in the bar on the left, click on "Signature"

If you want to add an image to your signature, then click the image button on the bottom section of the various codes (Next to the chain button and the <>)

As for helping you, I would recommend joining a faction. That's how I got into the swing of things, especially major factions who are extremely accommodating to new members.
