Private Hey there delilah

Vanquo, the jungle world home to clan solus, the many buildings that dotted the land had various people going about their day. Many ships came and went on their way ferry supplies and people about, among them was stardust herself, going about ensuring everything was going well and make sure no sith citizens were breaking their end of the deal

Course it wasn't just aimless wandering, she had a meeting set up with a Sith fleet officer that as coming to check in things ensure that clan solus was holding their end of the deal. Arriving she waited in the designated hangar now hand behind her back

Her lot in life seemed rather meaningless as of late. Instead of leading grand battles, she was stuck preforming mundane tasks that she found beneath her. Such as the current one, ensureing a clan of Mandalorians were keeping to their agreement. She came equipped in her armor of course, unsure as to the intentions of the Mandalorians, but felt it better to be prepared. Her eyes went to her protection, a group of four stormtroopers, members of what was left of her marine force; that disaster of an op with that Pureblood Sith had been a drastic setback to her progress.

Her eyes went to the date pad, reading about the bio of the woman she was to meet. Stardust Solus. She had an impressive record for sure, one that put Delilah's own to shame. She ignored the rustling that occurred within the shuttle, knowing that she could do much better than the imbecile in the cockpit. She linged for her days of being an ace pilot, but those days were never going to come back. She was a fleet officer, and that was that. Stuck on a bridge with people who couldn't appreciate her genius. Feeling the shift from the landing thrusters being deployed, she rose, towering over her shorter guards, in an almost comical display; the woe of being over six feet tall in a military was almost bareable at times. As the landing ramp deployed, Delilah was already striding down the ramp, her eyes searching for the Twi'lek of interest.

Hopefully they were as interesting as their resume made them out to be.

Stardust herself wasn't sure who she was meeting, all she knew was she was told they'd be sending someone and the two sides agreed on a time and a point where the person could land nothing more nothing less. She brought only herself to try and help lessen any tensions that may arise from the inspector coming, as the landing door opened at Captain Delilah Brujav would be greeted by just started sitting there standing tall at her 7 foot height, she had her two sabers, two westars, her sword Nova, and a few thermal dets that were standard with her outfit.

Approaching she gave a polite smile and a bow to delilah and then stood up straight

welcome to vanquo, I am stardust solus, I hope air control didn't give you too much of a hassle

She joked

As the ramp lowered, Delilah was met with an unusual sight. She didn't often find people as tall as her. Smirking a slight bit, she disembarked, her gaze meeting with the Mandalorian that awaited her. Nodding in kind, Delilah motioned for the woman to continue. "Thank you for the warm reception Madam Solus, please, can you show my your establishment?" She inquired, motioning for her men to remain with the ship; they would just get in her way from here on out. "My men will remain here, I find them to arouse suspicion in the locals from what I've gathered." Ignoring the huffs of her subordinates, Delilah moved to follow the Twi'lek, armed with only a blaster pistol and the dagger tucked into her front breastplate.

Casting a gaze about the area, Delilah gave a small 'hmph', as if not impressed by the sight before her. "Please, tell me about your people. My own knowledge of Clan Solus is rather limited due to....creative differences within the Empire."

yes yes yes of course please follow me

Glancing to the guards she was surprised that the fleet officer left them behind, most would insist and make a note that those guards would be following but this one seemed bold...or just knew her stuff. She led her out of the hangar and into the city, which at this point was well established with shops, restaurants, homes and different things including a quarter for mounts. Star heard the hmph and gave a glance down rather amused but ignored it and looked forward as she spoke

well we are mandalorians, our clan is good with forging, scouting, sniping, well..
.prettying much all around, we come from all different skills. We are good farmers and animal tamers as well, we've managed to tame the dragons here to be good air mounts and even pets and bahahaha guards, no one wants to break into a house a dragon guards

She talked light heartedly like she was talking to a friend, treating Captain Delilah Brujav as a enemy but a mere friend

She was surprised that the Mandalorian was so well spoken. It was rather surprising truth be told, but perhaps the clan leaders were the more sophisticated of the lot; it certainly wouldn't have suprised her. She had expected Mandalorian civilization to be more primitive, but to Delilah's pleasant surprise it wasn't that unlike how her old home once was. It was peaceful, though certainly holding a touch of Mandalorian to it.

Listening to the Twi'lek explain the nature of her clan, Delilah nodded slowly, taking note of what she was seeing; nothing seemed to be triggering any flags for her however. One thing did catch her attention though, and that was the mention of 'dragons'. "Dragons you say? Curious. What breed are they of?" She mused, her hands clasped behind her back as she followed along. She had read reports of Krayt Dragons and the level of destruction they wrought, but it was another thing entirely to gave a clan of Mandalorians devoted to raising and rearing dragons of their own; the military implications alone made her mind race with ideas. She chuckled at the Twi'lek's comment, of how few would seek to steal from a house guarded by dragons. "If you knew how my subordinates thought Madame Solus, you'd be surprised at the lengths they would go to accomplish a ill conceived goal. Dragons or no." The Twi'lek made for pleasant company, certainly more so than her typical escorts. "And what of you Madame Solus, what of your thoughts of progress on behalf of your people?" The Echani inquired, her eyes remaining on the Twi'lek, still a bit amused at her height. It seemed this mission might be more enjoyable than her last few tasks.

simply, the dragons of oldmanaged to hide out here on vanquo, when we came we discovered them and managed to tame a few. I have one but he's ah got a temper especially around new folks and ESPECIALLY around imperials

She walked with her through the streets as a few speeders passed coming back from patrol, glancing over she let a hearty laugh out and shook her head

mandalorians have fought tooth and nail for what they own...just look at mandalore...

That comment made her mood drop and she visibly frowned as she took a deep breath and let it out shaking her head as she glanced to delilah as she spoke about the progress of her people and immediately stopped in her tracks

progress...we've lost out sacred home to the sith...genocided....enslaved....and we can barely do anything about it...we've been set back and scattered as we have before

She turned her head to delilah

but that's the thing, the clans are scattered and we are everywhere...and one day again we will take back our home

She started walking again after that

Raising an eyebrow at the woman's words, Delilah was a tad surprised that there hadn't been more hostilities laid upon her and her soldiers for their arrival; but perhaps the clan knew how little that would solve, killing an Imperial Captain wouldn't help their situation. The visual apperance of the woman changed drastically as well, which made Delilah almost confirm her suspicions; this was all just an act, she was very much their enemy. Still, it was easy to understand. After everything the clans had gone through, she found it rather remarkable that they hadn't given up hope and broken.

A lesser people might she supposed, by Mandalorians were no lesser people as it stood. The last few words caught Delilah's attention, as she thought to inquire if there was any secret meaning behind what Star had said, but held off; not like she would reveal some secret plot of the Mandalorians after all. "It's a testament to the fighting spirit of your people. It's regrettable that it had to come to this." Delilah remarked, following behind the Twi'lek, curious if her words were going to see her be placed in a great deal of trouble. "I've only studied the culture of your people in my off time. I found it rather alluring truth be told." It was a statement of truth, but also one aimed to soothe things over with the Mandalorian for her previous comment. After all, Mandalorians weren't known for being patient.

She was silent for another minute or so as she took a breath and let it out, a temper she may have but she was good about keeping a cool head when she needed too. Looking over to delilah she spoke

that's my people, we fight and fight until we cannot no more, our weapons defend our friends and families

They came to the center of the big town, star stopped to look about and make sure everything was good as she glanced to delilah and raised a brow

have you? You know...we do not mind teaching about our culture and history...might even change your mind

The reaction that had been stirred was to be expected. The wounds were no doubt still fresh in the minds of the Mandalorians, and Madam Solus had been there for most of the conflict. Perhaps another phrasing of words would be required. Reaching the center of a village, Delilah was well aware of the thin line she could be towing at the moment. Best chose the next words carefully.

Giving a small nod as the woman retorted to Delilah's words, the captain was curious by the officer laid before her. "Is that so? Even though I'm a dirty Sith lapdog?" Delilah mused, feeling like there was a sort of allure that was waiting to be sprung upon her. "Could be dangerous, disclosing your culture to your adversaries?" Delilah turned to face the Twi'lek, smiling and giving a small nod. "I'd be honored of course. If you would have me." Though her previous words probably were going to cost her, Delilah was curious what else the woman had to offer.

Stardust stood tall, looking off in the distance as her mind worked on a little idea, looking back down to the woman in question as polite smile formed on her face as she reached out to pat her shoulder then spoke to her in that friendly tone

they must've really made your people ignorant to mine if you dont even know the slightest of clue about a mandalorian...

She chuckled, patting her shoulder as she looked off again, she ould tell delilah was being lured in by the interest and star knew she could use it to her advantage

I'll tell you what, put in for a two month leave, in that time I will teach you about my people and let you experience how we train, work together, and live...and maybe even you'll experience what a verd'goten is

With that she turned and started walking again towards some fields

Cocking an eyebrow, Delilah looked to the Twi'lek with a mix of curiosity and concern. The Sith certainly had hindsight problems, but to speak against that was...well it violated some minor codes of the military. Not that it mattered, but it went against Delilah's core as a devoted officer. So, instead of saying the first thing that came to her, she stopped and looked down at the moment to inflect before giving a response. "There are flaws in the intelligence aspects of war, that I can agree upon. But ignorant is perhaps a touch too strong?" It wasn't her place to ask, and truthfully she didn't really care. It was the mere implication that Delilah was no better than the rest of her peers; something she frankly found insulting, but she knew how to keep her composure.

Finding the Mandalorian patting her shoulder, Delilah's expression turned to one of confusion, as she tilted her head to the side. Was she being talked down to? Or was this an attempt of friendship on behalf of the Twi'lek. Either way, it confused Delilah. The offer that the Twi'lek gave the captain however, was something that she couldn't begin to comprehend. "I'm sorry, what?" She questioned, standing there in a stunned silence, before following after Star. Two months leave? Learn about Mandalorian culture? She might as well hang up her uniform and buy a beach house. Then again, that was her problem in the empire, she had no where to go. Sighing, she stopped following Star, letting the Twi'lek get ahead of her, before inquiring as to her intentions. "Why are you giving me this offer?" She wouldn't continue initially, until Star got a bit too far away from her liking, in which case she would follow after her.

Stardust Solus Skirae Stardust Solus Skirae

Star tilted her head, maybe that was a bit to harsh delilah hear seemed merely misinformed rather then ignorant. However star didn't speak on the matter further as she kept walking along the path towards the farms and gardens. Glancing back to see her stop star kept hoping not answering as they came upon some sunflowers that star entered and stopped as she crossed her arms behind her back and looked to her

something tells me that you grow tired...but I've been curious why they sent a fleet officer instead of some low ranking person....I offer this to you so that you may break the monotony in your life that I sense is great...

She didn't directly say anything, but the offer was there, walking towards a statue of yasha cadera she stopped and looked up at it and sighed

As she neared the Twi'lek, Star's words struck something inside Delilah, as her face dropped. Was she that easy to read? Indeed, it was rather ridiculous that she was being used in such a lowly position, and her superiors were never going to notice her. Their ideologies of Sith cultists and religion didn't appeal to her, and truthfully she was probably on a list to be 'reconditioned' like the rest of her peers. She simply wasn't up to the task, and they probably knew that. An exasperated sigh was drawn from her lips, as she had to admit that Star was right. There was no future in the empire. It was all down hill from here.

As Star wondered towards the statue, Delilah kept her distance initially, before moving towards the woman. Perhaps she had gone mad for her mission to devolve into this, yet it seemed to make sense in her mind. "Madam Solus, I'd be honored to accompany you. You're...not wrong. My place within the Empire is....confusing to say the least."

Wasn't that the truth.

Stardust turned towards her, standing tall as she looked down upon her, this was a great risk one that could put the clan in great risk. However she knew that if she didn't help delilah a fate would await her worse then anything star could think of

then go now, make your report however you like, place your leave in, and come back....we shall see after two months if you have what it takes to be among my people and if so...from there I'll make sure no one tries to find you
