all that's left are just remnants of their former existence, that only remind me of missed fellow writers. Anyway, if you don't recognize this charry, I wrote consistently with like 10 others for over a decade.
Yeah, I must be getting old lol. I started way back in the day on a telenet mud called 'Legends of the Jedi' which I think is still around today. That was really my first experience with any meaningful roleplay. From there I spent a little bit of time on Serenity MUSH and a Vampire: The Masquerade mud called 'Bourbon and Blood' which unfortunately doesn't exist anymore. I also did some roleplaying a few years back on a Star Wars RP forum called jedi.net and one called jedimasters.uk. Lately, the majority of my roleplay has taken place on a literary site called elliquiy.com where I go under the same screen name. No..not the writers...God no. The boards. The boards all all dead now. Some still exist, but rarely do they get visited anymore. They are like dead corpses..decaying away. Then of course, our hosting sites got hacked a few times too....adding to their final demise...

That's great that you've managed to reconnect with some of your former writing partners! I too have a tendency of taking long absences from roleplay. On the other site I RP on, I've left and come back probably half a dozen times over the last seven years. But I've been lucky enough to find that many of my friends are writing partners are still there each time so that's great. Wait...did I just say seven years?!?! When the hell did that happen?! Yikes. It only means that you are a seasoned writer. Damn though..none of those sites I wrote on. I may have visited them when they may have gotten advertised on the boards I wrote on. Yes, many of my boards allowed other boards to advertise, as long as they gave up the same courtesy.

Gah!...Oh well, life and imagination for some just can't stay dormant for too long. I too thought for nearly two yeas that I was done...and stopped visiting my former playgrounds.
Then about two, three weeks ago I posted on an old dead board and WHALA!..
Wouldn't you know it, a few of my fellow writers had made it here years before! God I had missed them.
Ok, so that's the short version of my story. Only because Its way past my bedtime and I'm too tired to write a few chapters explaining EVERYTHING...
