SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Unholster Protocols
  • "Aim-From-The-Hip" Auto-Aim Feature
Strengths:
  • Faux Leather? No, Fox Leather -
The general durability of the holsters makes them a favorite amongst the numerous hunters, seekers, and producers of the galactic plane. Leaving out all of its various aspects, it still boils down to a very well built holster, of exceptional quality. Betters may exist, but its a good point to grade others on.

[*]High Noon -
  • Due to the number of shootings being directly correlated to those wearing a weapon in the first place, Jaeger decided to make the winner the one that bought their product. Through a series of microcomputers and a single repulsorlift located in the holster itself; the entire system is able to propel ones gun and hand out of the holster in the same manner as they would, only faster. This can take some time to get used to, but allows for its user to have a very significant advantage in a mandalorian standoff.

[*]Han Shot Under The Table -
  • Every want to just shoot someone, but too lazy to actually go through the effort of pulling the handgun from your hip? No worries, Jaeger has you covered! Even with both hands in the air, a single unnoticable command through a bio metric sensor can cause the weapon to target the nearest person infront of them deemed a threat, rotate whatever handgun on your hip, and fire at them dead center. This allows for any bounty hunter to have an ally on the field in the form of a holster on their hip; and who doesn't want to be the ranger with the big iron?

Weaknesses:
  • Magnets, How Do They Work? -
Because the device works off biometric scans rather than something as simple as a toggle lock, each can get stuck in a processing loop that can take some time; effectively causing the user to be unable to take the weapon from the holster itself, and being used. On the plus side, this just means the enemy can't take it off you either.

[*]Threat Detection -
  • In all honesty, so much work was put into making the gun identify a target and even be able to shoot that many of its designers may have foregone the use of 'threat levels' when making the device; meaning those who don't know what they're doing could just as easily shoot their long time pilot in the back of the head as they would the criminal scum holding them captive. You thought you were being a trickster, but really you just killed your childhood friend.

[*]Broke A Nail -
  • Because the device utilizes a series of repulsorlifts to almost throw the weapon from the holster, its surprisingly easy to toss the weapon from your grasp from sheer momentum, or even cause it to jam against a finger and break it. While training with the device can certainly help, this is a glaring issue when trying to exceed the limits of man in almost all aspects of war.

DESCRIPTION

Once more, Jaeger Solutions creates another armor addition that works this time for the bounty and lone ranger, rather than the military man. This is not to say that a registered officer shouldn't use it, only that it might be a bit better to simply avoid that whole mess with explaining it to a quarter master, and why your holster managed to shoot the private who just transferred from Coruscant. Still, in a bad spot in pazaak? Maybe hands over your head, face down on the ground? Nothing could do you better than the old 'Huckleberry' Class holster, able to shoot your way out of any situation before you even get the chance to.

Working with magnetic locking systems and biometic scanners, the holster is made to only open for its user. This helps prevent captives from having their weapon taken from them before they can activate the quick repulsorlifts to engage and take out whatever threat is nearby; however that is a topic in its own. The numerous aiming protocols, sensors, and microcomputers for compensations, all make the holster a bit more extra than most would consider needed out of a holster. This series of computerized gadgets brings the age old design of a gun thong into the new world through a number of improvements.

First and foremost, shooting from the hip. This has been a dream of a few too many Jaeger scientists for some time, and has finally taken shape in the form of this belt. Slide your handgun of choice in, lock it in place using the durable magnetic locking mechanisms, and shoot away. Able to spin in any manner of vertical motions, and a wide horizontal range in the direction the holster is situated on, while the other side may suffer in coverage; the device itself is primed and ready to fire on the enemy when you're not able to in most cases. Its simple as that!

[member="The Slave"] So, this holster is capable of 'rotating' itself and aiming at a target with just a twitch from the person wielding it? What kind of twitch? Is it possible to do this twitch by accident like, let's say, you sneeze or something? Also, what if the person is at a weird angle to where aiming would be nigh-impossible from the position the holster is in? Should put that in the sub somewhere.

Updated. Made sure to mention that it only has a wide range on the side the holster is mounted, and it actually goes off a minor biometric scanner to check nueral messsages that would register with the holster. Saves the whole 'sneeze and shoot someone' thing, lmao. Didn't think about that while writing it up.
