Hi Galactic Empire!

Your friendly Dark Lord of the Sith from the New Order here...

I don't suppose someone could point me in the direction of faction ownership? :)

That would be [member="Cody Weadge"], or myself. Not really too many folks around and about these days faction staff wise.

Should point out that there has been a change in management, old emperor died, brand new shiny empress came into the spotlight (That'd be me!) Anyway ... This has caused a reevaluation of force users and their counterparts. The citadel has started to collect dust in the mean time awaiting final word of their fate. But right now, things are not exactly on the force users side here. So.... everything depends on what you have in mind, or plan to do.

The New Order, the faction I am the owner of, has intentions to recreate the Galactic Empire, if and when it takes over Coruscant. Which is why it's called the New Order. I know about the Galactic Empire and that you're currently a sub-faction of the Fringe. But I was wondering if you and your member base would like to join ours to help recreate the Galactic Empire.

Non-FS users are just as important as FS. For example, we just founded a Moff Council and there are other sub-groups as well. We're also looking to create an Admiralty board and Stormtrooper corps.

Interested? :)

Even leaving aside the management's hatred of Sith, I recall the New Order just got defeated by the Mandalorians at Dromund Kaas and its Emperor has disappeared. Its intervention of the Horde's side against Moross did not go better. It...seems very unlikely it will take Coruscant any time soon.

While I will wait to render a decision until Cody gets home this evening... I will say a few things on the matter now. For a start this isn't the normal run of the mill Galactic Empire.

Right now, massive things are happening that will shape the future of TGE. Setting our party line even more clearly than it ever has been before.

Every Atrisian, has been born with a distrust of all things the force, and the people who use such voodoo magic. They are not well accepted beings in the least. Now that the political scene has shifted, things grow more and more bloody for the force users who did not escape the Empress's wrath.

Even prior to the political shift, force users of any variety were blamed for the disappearance of small children, farm animals, and murder in the city. Whether or not they had a role, did not matter to the every day citizen. Not well liked in the least, and following the force registration act, violence against force users started to ticked up significantly, since the ordinary population could finally put names to the faces of the monsters they feared most.

Anyway, long story short... I don't just see the faction as a whole joining under a Sith banner. It just doesn't fit the party line that we set out from the start. The force hating niche that they are, I don't think it'd end well for the New Order if The Galactic Empire joined them. In all likelihood we'd be the first to put a knife in your back.... Which I don't think you had in mind when proposing this.

Also a large number of Sith in charge, kinda makes it a Sith Empire, not the Galactic Empire. If Imperials were running the show, that'd be a different song and dance.

All of the above aside, I will wait for Cody to get home. Where he and I can talk it over and we'll get back to you later tonight, or tomorrow morning-ish, depending on what time he actually arrives home.

Madeline said things much better than I would have, but then she was always the more eloquent one. During the Galactic Empire (the real one) no one was publicly aware that Force users existed in the Empire. In fact the "New Order" was specifically a quasi religious neo nazi style movement based on the idea that jedi, and by extension all Force users, were evil and had to be captured or killed. Emperor Palpatine and Lord Vader were known only to the highest levels to be Sith, and the existence of Palpatine's dark side (but never sith given he believed in the rule of two) minions was known to even fewer. So while you are free to create a sith empire, and I will fully support your doing so, it makes no sense for the Galactic Empire to join such an empire.

Thank you for your interest though.
