Hello there, I'm new here
A few questions:
Can you join the Obsidian Order?
Is there a application form, or a task you have to complete?
Any advice?

Welcome! Anyone can join the Obsidian Order. There's no prerequisites that I'm aware of, though [member="Darth Vulkan"] would know more about that than I would.

Is there something specific you're wanting to do with your character? Be a technomancer? Researcher? Warrior? More dark than light? Vice versa?

A kind of stealthy, spy-like character. Tired of the dark side and the light, so is actually pretty much completely neutral.

Sounds like you'd be a great fit for Net Taozin (our rough equivalent to Jedi Shadows or Sith Agents)

THE SHADOWS (TAOZIN NETWORK)
The most secretive and lesser-seen of the Obsidian Order's members, these Shadows typically weave themselves deep into the Spynet. They train just as hard as the Knights, but they train in entirely different affairs. Deception, illusion, manipulation, and how not to be seen. Their duties even expand into 'behaviourally corrective activity' and such related tasks for the betterment of the TU.

If you haven't already, you should look over this thread for some ideas as to our theme or setting. And this thread might help you get ideas for equipment that your character would use.

Training threads are not required, but should you desire one I'd be happy to help (depending on the skill you're looking for, SJ is mostly a Jedi Consular/Mentalist).

We also have a Dominion on Ruusan that you're welcome to join (in whatever capacity you like).
