Hey there, good lookin. How you doin? Good? That's good. I'm doing pretty good too, thanks for asking. Yep, I'm new here. Just arrived a few hours ago, and I've just been working on my characters. My bro introduced me to this place, so I am pretty excited yet nervous to be starting, since I don't know much about how things work around here, but I will do my best to figure it out, and hopefully I will have some friendly faces to help me here and there. Oh, what's that? You'd be willing to help me? Wow, that's awesome. I'd really appreciate that. I'll keep that in mind in the future.
Oh, what are my characters? Well, my main character, this guy, Gharick, is an Engineer that used to run a local repair shop on his homeworld. And his lovely wife, [member="Sabine Haime"], used to be in Law Enforcement. I say "used to" because Gharick was mostly working for criminals and street gangs, until Sabine found out he actually helped a criminal she was chasing down for a while, so she reported Gharick to her people, and they went in and shut the place down(Funny thing is, she knew about his business prior to that specific revelation, but she didn't do anything about it because she loved him. But when she found out he helped the one specific criminal, it tipped her over the edge and she took some actions that she may soon regret.). But the plot thickens, as Gharick and Sabine have a daughter, Abitess, who just so happened to be at Gharick's shop that day. And once Sabine's law enforcement buddies showed up, Gharick took Abitess and ran away, wanting to keep her safe. Oh yeah, the whole situation is pretty messed up, you are right at that.
Anyway, I'm sure you don't want to listen to these people's entire life stories, we're just here for introductions right now. I'm sure we will have many opportunities to get to know each other in the future, and perhaps we will even RP together. That would be pretty fun.
However, before we part ways, I have a small question to ask. Is it possible for me to make a private roleplay where I post as both Gharick and Sabine just to write out the events I told you about a moment ago? It would just be something I write out on my own so I can show the details of the whole occurrence. I know that this place is something where writers work together to build stories, but I'd like to do this one thing to put some details into their story. And then I will go to RPing with other peeps.
EDIT: Also, what the heck is wrong with the formatting on this post? In the editor it looks completely normal, but when I click post/save changes it gets all wonked up and adds spaces everywhere. Is there some way to fix this, or is it just me?
