Designed as part of the portable defenses that have been getting made for Atrisian soldiers and designed with a simple objective. To act as a potable defensive laser for handling gadgets, smaller enemies or create distractions. The beam is strong and can cut through things eventually or cause harm to others it has the beam on for an extended period of time. The atrisian soldiers using them have been able to set up several to create effective zones of protection and control. With the scythes on a swivel protecting rooms or hallways from different angles to distract or catch enemies unaware in situations where the high grade lasers can cause some harm. The internal power system designed to go with it allows them to operate largely until turned off or damaged in which they can become a massive explosive.
