Private Hiding in Plain Sight

The crowded streets of Nar Shaddaa were perfect spots for bounty hunters to get lost in and Tarw needed to make sure he lost the person attempting to tail him. He had been figuring out the best methods for ensuring that he sold the identity of being a bounty hunter with a target on his back, it meant that he just literally had to pay someone to put a bounty on his head and calling him a bounty hunter. Burying his service records was something that he had to also request from the SIA to ensure that his true identity wasn't compromised but they seemed to understand, especially given that he was attempting to route out traitors that were selling information through bounty hunters and smugglers.

He needed to work with someone else as well, someone who was more skilled in stealth and undercover work.

Though, Tarw hadn't met the partner yet, he was playing on meeting them at the guild on Nar Shaddaa. It just happened that the smuggler's moon was not too surprisingly littered with hunters who wanted to cash in Tarw's bounty. Circling around, Tarw managed to confuse the hunter and dip out of sight. He headed to the meet up point, arriving a little later than he agreed to but he figured that his reasoning for being late would be acceptable. Ensuring a tail was lost would be preferred over arriving on time with a tail.

Tarw was just curious about who he would be teaming up with for this mission now.

Being given assignment on Nar Shadda was- for Zalia -strikingly different from the usual business of Coruscant or other core worlds. The only word she could find to describe a world ran more so by the cartels and crime rather than government was... atypical. Crime and violence go hand-in-hand, so many bad fates could await someone here.

So, when it took a while for her assigned partner for this mission, it was easy to assume the worst had happened. There was the pacing, then wondering, then questioning if she should go looking for him herself. But, she hadn't come here wearing her armor set- it was just typical clothes with a short jacket. So if something bad had happened, anything violent, it wasn't like she was equipped to deal with it...

Thankfully, he did arrive, late was better than never. "Tarw Rhyfelwr?" The Amaran stepped out into the open, though she didn't give much time to answer the question "I'm Zalia, or Vex, either works. We'll be associates for the duration of this mission. You're also tall and strong as I expected." There was a quiet, hushed "Ha" that escaped her, as if that was her cold, emotionless attempt at comedy "You're late and seem particularly... rushed. No complications coming here I hope? The Bureau gave a clear order that this mission is to be completed, ready or not." Her eyes then briefly glanced over his shoulder, a sly attempt to see if he had been followed, though her eyes drifted back to looking at him- seems like he hadn't been followed, a pleasant surprise for a SIA agent to be working with someone else who knows what discretion is.

With his fingers running through his hair, he looked down at the partner in crime he would have for the mission. She was short, much shorter than himself. But there were advantages to that, would be easier for her to hide amongst the crowd and such. "Nice to meet you Zalia. Tarw works just fine for myself as well." Her attempt at comedy went over his head somewhat, as he tilted his head and did not realise she was joking when making the comment on the fact he was tall and strong.

He was tall and strong, it was good she knew that. That was as far as he saw it.

"Caught a hunter following me for the bounty, just had to ditch the tail is all. Nothing too worrisome. How about yourself? Any issues with getting here or what we are needing to do?" Tar asked, wanting to make sure that his partner for the mission was briefed and ready to go. "I'm ready whenever you are. Lead the way." He mentioned as he was curious to see her in action.

She'd look about again just to be sure no one was around before replying.

"I'm good, I've gone through missions like this many times, albeit Nar Shadda isn't my preferred place to stay. And seeing as no one is following..." She began to walk, motioning him to follow down a small, dense, unpopulated street "Ironic you're being tracked by some bounty hunters, given the fact that our targets are searching from some to help of the bounty hunter variety. I'll go through the briefing for both of our sakes, just to make sure we're both informed."

"As you already know and have thankfully gone through the effort of disguising yourself as: We'll be bounty hunters, offering help to a group of... disgruntled ex-Alliance personnel. They have invaluable information on a wide variety of Alliance assets that cannot be made public for the sake of safety, stability of the Alliance and future operations. I'd also like to add those of the organization that I work for appreciates that you're here and willing to disrupt this data operation."
Zalia came to a halt near a door, one which acted as a back entrance to a populated bazaar.

"I've already got a means for us to get close to our objective; we'll be moving through a major commercial area, there I expect an associate of these ex-Alliance types to be waiting. He'll believe we're bounty hunters and your self-paid bounty has helped in that regard considerably. We'll be lead to their headquarters where they're leaking this information from and patch the leak by any means necessary. Silent or loud- silent preferred -as long as their data is destroyed, the Bureau will be pleased and the Alliance safe." Click, she pressed a button and the door slid open, Zalia leading through a very brief maze of alleyways, one which echoed with the sounds of the bazaar. Then, the crowds and market came into view. It was impossible to tell who or what could be waiting for them, the small Amaran hoping that more bounty hunters after Tarw wouldn't appear to collect that bounty.

"I'd suggest we keep as close together as possible for as long as we're here, I very much dislike this world."

Nods his head, "yeah, Nar Shaddaa is not a great place to spend any length of time on but for information and figuring out what is going on in the criminal circles, there are few spots better." Tarw followed the SIA agent and shrugged, "there are always going to be bounty hunters who attempt to cash out a reward on a target, even if the opportunity is not good. Or if their skills aren't up to snuff." He chuckled and gave a shrug of his shoulders.

Listening to the brief and nodded his head, "aye, I feel it is the duty of any soldier to offer their skills and the ability to help with any mission. I might not be the best in terms of spying and subterfuge but I do have some insight on the ex-Alliance traitors." Tarw was disgusted by the fact there were members of the Alliance that was supply secrets and information onto the black market. He was extra concerned since he was hoping that these traitors were not going to be soldiers but there was something inside him that hinted towards that.

"Sounds good. Surprised you were able to make contact with them since they have been pretty illusive." Tarw commented but he displayed his impressed look without trying to hide it, "yeah, avoiding attention or anything that could lead back to use would be great. Would also love to figure out why these people are doing this and what drove them this way." Knowing what caused this leak was important to avoid having to deal with the issue again in the future.

Staying close to the agent, "sounds good. I will follow your lead on interacting with them."
