Hiding Out (Open To All)

Areiana had gone into hiding on some little backwater planet in the unknown reg of space, and she HATED it. She had spent her life as a smuggler and She hated being in one place for too long that was till she found out there was a bounty on her head.
It hadn't been her fault pirates had ambushed her and took most of her goods. she had manged to deliver most of the goods but she'd guest that it hadn't been good enough for the Hutt who she had a contract with. At least she thought it was the Hutt, She didn't know for sure all she knew that she heard through some contacts that there was a large bounty on her head. Lucky they wanted her alive but that just meant the Hutt wanted to kill her them self.

She had hid out on one of the Outline farming comminities under a false name. She didn't have the heart to cut her long red hair so she braided into pigtails, wrapped it around her head and hid it under a headscarf.
She had never finished her Jedi training but she learned enough from her Master before he died to know how to hide herself from the force altho it meant she was unable to use the force herself, but right now that was fine with her.

Her father had been a young Jedi himself when he choose to leave the Jedi to marry the women he loved and have her. Her mother had died giving birth to her and left her father as a single father who had no idea how to raise a daughter. Not able to return to the Jedi and with no where to go. Her father became a Smuggler doing odd and end jobs around the galaxy and he got pretty famous.
Then when she was ten they were ambushed on their way to a delivery. Unable to escape and with them trying to force there way in her father hide his daughter behind a panel that he used for smuggling telling her to hide herself from the force and that he loved her.

As he closed the panel the door burst in and through the smoke several armored men came in with black clad armored female entered. They spoke for a moment then the lady pulled out out a red lightsaber and stabbed her father. She could only watch her father dead on the floor as they ransacked the ship looking for something. When they didn't find it they left the ship drifting in space.

At least here she could hide and no one knew who she was. She had taken odd and end jobs to make some ends meat. Most the time she was a bartender for the local cantana, but she also help fix the farming equipment and ship when they broke and whatever else they needed her for. She even have a small house just outside the city, something she never had before.

Today she was standing behind the bar wiping down classes. The farmer had just returned from the harvest and she had already had to break up a drunken fight, something she really didnt enjoy doing but she had come to know who the trouble makers were by now. They were great guys normally but when they were drunk..that was another story.

Jakkor had been traveling for several days on a travel to wild space,and it was one of the times he rarely left his wife and kids out on Lothal. Their are times like these that when he did leave,it was time to usual explore himself. He would travel to the old battlefields that he had fought in the clone wars,and reflect on them. When he was there it was not recongnizable in the past eight centuries since. He always felt as if he saw ghosts,and that was probably what he had seen.

He was Twenty Seven now. After spending time in the galaxy he had been through much,and it all began when he was seventeen during the clone wars. He had commanded the 350th Attack Battalion during the wars and fought from the barren world of Ossus,to the deserts of Ragmar V. He fought along beside his master,and his best friend and lieutenant Kana Mekesa. When Order 66 occurred he was never the same he was on the run for over a year roughly escaping what became known as the Jedi Purge. Than he had encountered his best friend once again but this time known as the Second Sister one of Vader's first Inquisitor's. Her death is what saddened him the most,not only had they fought side by side. But that she was in love with the Tusken even after her fall to the dark side.

After being trapped in stasis for now eight centuries. He had now woken up to a galaxy where everything had changed. He had now fought armies of the dark side,and survived the Omega Wars. He now had been an exile for a decade or so raising his family with his Wife and Jedi Master. Where he had found peace after so very long.
He had left them for a trip now here he was.

He walked into the cantina and sat in a dark corner with Corellian whiskey. He had been very sad as it was the birthday for Kana so he always go on a trip to remember her,and sometimes often drank himself to sleep. He looked around sensing a force signature but he did not care to really go look. Only drinking to himself lazily,and keeping his wrapped head down.

The first thing areia Thought when she saw the stranger how weird it was to see a Tusken out this war. They did get offworlders here's. She herself was a off worlder but being here almost a year most of the people thought of her as one of their own. It was just how close the commity was here. As long as you didn't cause problems you were alright with them. She tucked a strain of red hair into her her head scarf as one of the reg sat down at the bar. She poured him his drink but she kept a eye on the new person. She kept a blaster tucked under the bar just in case of problems, a old habit she had picked up as a smuggler.

Then of course She also had her fathers Lightsaber. She kept it in two pieces on each side of her belt. She had been training with it in hidding whenever she could. She would travel with her little R2 Who she loving called snap to the large caves carved into the mountain side just outside the city and stay overnight in the caves medationing and working with the saber Just in case she ever need to use it. She had lucky not had to use it \because that would blow her cover for sure but she couldn't bare to not have it at her side. It and the ship which was hidden in a huge cave was the only things left she had of her father.

Two men started fighting over the game they were playing and Areia yelled at them to knock it off or they wont be able to return and they quit. She was more then the bartender here she was more like a manger. The owner had taken her in after she landed her and almost adopted her, He helped her find a place and offered her a job here. She had worked hard and soon he was letting her run the bar while he traveled with his family. The people trusted Areia but at the same time they knew Not to mess with her. She had to break up serveral fights which ended up with broken bones and black eyes. She wasn't someone to angry.

The Tusken kept drinking rapidly. Roughly draining an entire bottle of the whiskey within an hour or so. He had picked up the habit of his drinking from being on the run,and it being used as some sort of medication for his PTSD. He had nightmares on end,and more frequently after Kana's death but it was imagined in several different ways. It always left him screaming and being drenched in sweat. He would than drink himself to sleep and start all over again.

When the bottle was finished he sighed sadly,and thought to himself. 'Well Kana i hope your happy wherever you are. I wonder if this is what you would have wanted for me.' After snapping out of his pondering he looked over,and stretched out with the force. With his eyes closed he could feel everything from the bartender complaining,to a conversation between two drunken patrons. When he had touched upon the one of a young woman who he had seen when he had walked in,he had a strange feeling about her. He thought to himself more,and finally came to the conclusion that she was force sensitive. He kept a close eye on her watching her work,getting a sense of curiosity about her.

It was almost closing time and the bar was emptying out. She walked around the bar picking up empty bottles and cups from the tables. she was dressed in black jumpsuit unzipped in the front just enough to show a little cleavage. She wore a brown corset that lifted her chest and looked almost like battle arm chest peice but was made out of some kind of brown leather. The most unique thing about here tho were her eyes. She had different color eyes. Her right was a deep blue color and her left was a Jade green.

She walked over to his table "Were about to close, Is there anything else i can get for you sir?" she picked up the empty whiskey bottle. There was a little R2 droid trailing behind her with a large deep tray which she was putting the bottles and cups. She sat the bottle into the container. She turned as two people called out her name from the door.

"Ashla see you tommorow."

She waved back calling back to them "Alright see you after your shift." She watched them leave before turning back to the man. The bar was empty now and the once loud noise bar was very quite all but the soft humm of the lights and machines around the room.

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

He now sat quietly in his seat in a Jedi Meditation trance. He had done a lot of meditation over the past decade that his Wife/Master often made him too in order to calm him down from the effects of PTSD. He had found an odd sense of peace within the room. His black cloak was wrapped around his jedi robes,and his lightsabers were placed out of view just in case anyone did not take too well to Jedi.

He was so lost within his meditation that when he opened his eyes everyone left,and the bar was as quiet as night. This left him puzzled as the girl he now watched asked him inquisitively if he had needed anything else. He looked at her through his red lenses,and replied wisely,and calmly. "No my young friend,but i could ask the same of you." He mentally chuckled himself hearing him act as if he was a stuffy old jedi master from his temple days. But he had than thought about that despite being a Padawan he had the mind and wisdom of an Old Master,and so this girl that stood in the very place that he was in kinda reminded him of himself.

[member="Areiana Slayer"]

* she raised a eyebrow as he asked that. Her father use to tell her story how the old Jedi master use to talk this way but she had never met a Jedi of any kind other then her father. She watched him a moment\
"I dont know what your talking about sir."

She took a rag out wiping the table, Some red hair falling out of her scarf she had to tuck it back behind her ear. She had to get her hair trimmed soon it was getting out of of hand. She could feel his eyes watching her as she washed the table. She felt him pushing at her through the force and she hopped he won't find out to much about her with teh bounty still on her she wanted to stay under the radar. She swollowed hard looking up at him*

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

He chuckled,and than said nothing leaving her to her work. He pondered to himself enjoying the silence. That was why he had lived on Lothal to find peace as just a simple farmer,but they're times like these where he craved to explore the larger galaxy. He kept quiet for a while just laying back lazily against the seat.

He than watched her gaze as she washed tables,still pressing his will into her mind,but like all force sensitives she had a mental barrier pushing him back. He kept watching her,and she had a slight look what it seemed to be fear that got the young Tusken to be surprisingly curious. She than looked at him swallowing hard. This led to Jakkor chuckling,and finally speaking to break the ice. "Calm yourself friend. I will not harm you,nor do i want your bounty. Yes i know who you are,and i know why you must be hiding. I know that all too well myself. So please do not be afraid."

[member="Areiana Slayer"]

She stiffened as he said that and had to force herself to calm down. she looked at him again her hand at her side now. poodoo this meant she would have to leave here. She couldn't risk putting these people in danger if they bounty hunters found her. She was just starting to enjoy her life here even made friends. "Look i dont know who you think i am but my name is Ashla and im a refegee who came here for work." she couldn't use force mind trick on this man she knew he was force strong himself but she could try and stick to her cover story and push her mental barrier back against him hard so he couldn't break through it.

The little R2 unit beeped and ran into her leg she looked down at him she waved the droid away and he went around the bar to put the tray down. Her hand brushed against the hilt of her saber lightly but she didnt remove it from her belt as she watched him careful. "But hey if you need something repaired i'm pretty good at it." she gave a grin at him

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

He stared at her intently through the red lenses of his mask,and he thought to himself. 'Surely this girl is a fool. It doesn't matter who one's name is weather she likes it or not she is a Jedi.' He got up slowly. Letting his cloak fall down a bit revealing a gap showing the traditional jedi robes but in a desert tan design. He looked at her still watching her hands at a spot that looked to be a weapon. He cautiously placed a hand over one of his hilt's just in case this became ugly. He didn't think she was a threat but nevertheless did not want to take any chances with her whatsoever.

After silence for a moment or two. Jakkor spoke calmly to her,as if he was wise beyond his years. "Ashla now that's rich. Using the ancient name for the light side as cover very smart of you. But regardless of all that. I know you are a Jedi,your walk the way you carry yourself,that is very reminiscent of what a Jedi is. You can never hide that especially from me who i have scene a lot of things long before you were born." He stood his ground. Staring at her curiously,and waiting patiently for a reply.

[member="Areiana Slayer"]

she backed up as he stood standing her ground and calling her out she was busted and she knew it there was no hiding it now. All she could do was laugh.
"well your only half right, I'm no Jedi I never finished my training my Master died before I could."
The little droid returned now without a tray she turned to him "Its alright snap, Go to back and check on the new supplies we just got in." the droid beeped at her and turned and went into the back she went back the bar. she reached under pulling out a small bag hidden in a hidden compartment she had a few medical kits, some food, water and credits in case she had to make a quick get away. "Look There's some bad people after me and if they knew i was here it could be bad for the people here." she took some credits from the reg just enough to cover her wages.
"we came here to hide i dont want any trouble..."

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

He laughed some more,somehow this girl always thought he was going to hurt her. He wouldn't really do that she proved no threat to him. What surprised him the most about her though was her lack of training. That would explain why she couldn't handle bounty hunters. This made him relate to her,and feel a sense of pity as well.

He replied knowingly. "Well that explains things than. Than come with me than. I can take you wherever you want to go,but you cannot run from your gifts. Do you even know how to wield a lightsaber." He crossed his arms and arched his head upwards a little.

[member="Areiana Slayer"]

She finished putting the credits and a few more food supples in the bag, the little droid returned from the back room and rolled over stopping beside her. When he said that she stopped her hand going to touch the lightsaber on her belt. It had been her fathers. Even if she only used it for target practice she wore it cause it made her feel closer to her father.

"I go out to the hills three times a week and practice so yes i can weild a saber."
She closed the bag tie the frayed ends together. She touched the R2 unit and a panel opened up she put the bag in before the door closed again. she leaned against the droid lightly looking at the man again. "I've been mostly training myself since I was ten"

After a long hard days work, the Jedi Master wanted a drink. Most people assumed Jedi wandered the galaxy only to strike down evil and kill the Sith, but that just wasn't true sometimes. There were Jedi like Rexus that extended his help outside of a blade or a gun. Where other Jedi simply wanted the glory of killing sith and becoming famous from slaying Darth So And So, Rexus was content with helping a farming village harvest their grain, or training adults and caregivers in advanced first aid and medicine. That was the true duty of a Jedi, not just to create peace, but to better the life within it.

So stepping into the almost closed bar, the man in a straw hat and dirty grey t-shirt calmly stepped into the room. For the force sensitives they'd feel it almost immediately. Power. Raw primal power of the forces of creation. But it wasn't savage, it wasn't angry or deadly, it was almost peaceful in a way. Like a raging waterfall that fell and cascaded itself onto sharp rocks smoothing them into round and beautiful stones.

They would be able to sense that this man was indeed a master level force user, but of course had nothing to fear from him. With dirt and sweat coming off him, the dusty dark skinned man walked over to the bar and sat down. He didn't say anything, he didn't need to, when the bartender was ready she'd come over and take his order for a quick drink.

So picking up a cocktail menu from the bar he began to look through them and read softly to himself of what was available.

"Ooh, tropical getaway. That sounds nice. But a Mustafar Mule, that does rouse curiosity. Then again I've never been one for lava." He chuckled to himself softly and smiled gently at the little fun list of drinks.

Rex was a simple man in that sense. He saw the good in everything and beauty in almost anything. He loved and cherished it, and would do anything to defend it from being destroyed.

He watched her closely. He hid his garbed hands within his cloak,and watched her as she packed up her things with the help of her astromech droid.
He walked forward his cloak flowing with every step he took. He gazed at her studying her features. After getting lost in his thoughts he finally spoke. "Perhaps i ought to test them,but before that. Do you want to come with me or not??" He stood there yet again waiting patiently. There was an eerie silence throughout the bar. It was both awkward yet comforting at the same time,but regardless Jakkor did not care. He was mostly interested in the girl for some odd reason.

She bite her bottom lip normally she wont go with a stranger like this but their was something about him she couldnt put her finger on it but she felt like she could trust him she nodded lightly. "A...alright I'll go with you.." she touched the droid lightly she couldn't stay here she needed to get off this planet and maybe this Jedi could teach her a little more about the forces so she could finish her training.

She walked around the bar the little droid following behind her she walked beside him leaning against the bar. "why are you taking such a intrested in me its not like i'm all that powerful im a Smuggler nothing more..." [member="Jakkor Kess"]

With the two remaining people in the bar ignoring him the man just sat at the bar for a bit, kind of stuck in that awkward limbo of if you say something or just let people be bad at their job and provide poor service. But hey, it had been a long day and Rex wasn't really in the mood to stand up and start raising his voice. He was too old for that and he preferred to just speak in a calm and professional manner towards these seemingly young and inexperienced padawans.

"Um.... excuse me? Is this like a serve yourself kind of situation? Going off an honor system or something? Because I just want a drink here." The man rambled for a few moments before eyeing the selection of booze behind the bar.

Spotting a rather nice Oberonian brandy, the man stretched his arm out and let the force flow out from him. Within a few seconds he pulled not only the bottle of brandy, but a fine glass and a few ice cubes to go along with it. Once the bottle and cubes were at his finger tips the man used the force manipulating it so the glass would be set down and the cubes would gravitate into its crystal center.

The brandy would then open on its own and the lovely alcoholic liquid would levitate out of the bottle like a charmed snake and into the cup where it would reside until drank. With a long sigh the man took the glass in his hand and ran a hand through his hair under his straw hat. Once that momentary gesture of comfort was over the man took a long sip of the smooth alcohol and a warm smile crept onto his face of a job well done.

"You kids should run along, adventures to go on and what not." the Jedi master said before taking another sip of his drink.

He walked beside her not paying any attention to the R2 unit. He felt some satisfaction at her words,he was no master at all,but he could open her up to a larger world. He replied calmly. "You are not some mere smuggler. You have gifts,gifts that should not be wasted and to be fully explored as well. I am no Master but i do know how the force works. I have seen much in the galaxy for 800 years i feel as if i'm an old man myself. But i do know that i myself have much to learn. Nothing happens by accident perhaps it is the will of the force that i came to you."

He was wrapped so much with his conversation with the girl,he did not notice the man that was still left. He looked at him,and gave him a nod of respect sensing he was strong in the force. He said surprisingly but respectfully. "Oh i did not see you there. But yes i'm sure it won't be the last if their will be some adventure at all."

Leo loved backwater planets. The people in these parts so full of that vibrant exasperation that'd cause them to start a fight if someone so much as looked at them the wrong way. It reminded him of the good ol' days. Of course that was in the past, Leo was a new man now, working for the Kathol Outback. He had been assigned by [member="John Shepherd"] to recruit possible members to their cause and he thought these types of places would attract the perfect fit, passionate, and not taking kark from no one.

He strolled into the bar, hands buried deep into his dusty trench-coat, it was fairly late and only three people remained, one looked like she worked here. It seemed that Leo had interrupted a conversation of some sort, you could cut the tension in here with a vibro-blade. "So... how are we all doing this fine night?" Leo pondered, taking a seat up at the bar next to the man with the straw hat.
