Biography
Almost 5 decades ago, the proud Ardik family brought into the galaxy a new soul. One that was destined for greatness and utter nobility. The day of Neilo Ardik's birth was one of great importance for he was the firstborn son of his generation. As a young boy, Neilo was raised in a very strict home. His early years were filled with lessons of etiquette, mannerisms, and the like. Where he faltered, strict punishment was given out in many forms. At the age of 10, Neilo was enrolled into a private umbaran academy. There, he recieved higher learning until the age of 18.
Neilo had graduated from the academy and went on with his life as an adult. Neilo began his journey to an asteroid where there was a school that taught it's students the art of the combat. Neilo had enrolled in vibrorapier training courses. Neilo appreciated the elegant weapon and thoroughly enjoyed using such a creation. Neilo was a very sophisticated young dult so the vibroweapon was the obvious weapon of choice for him.
When Neilo was in his early 20s, he was contacted by a childhood friend who was a marine in the Confederate Naval Forces. Through some heavy convincing, Neilo met his friend in Confederacy space and formally enlisted into the navy, in secrecy from his family of course. Neilo began as a Serviceman 3rd class apart of a starfighter squadron aboard a CIS cruiser. He was a fit soldier. He ate regularly, kept in shape as best he could, and kept morale up in his squadron. Many years passed bfore the shining moment where Neilo had earned his stripes. It was a bloody space battle above Hypori and, the freshly promoted, Staff Commander Neilo Ardik was leading his squadron to assault the opposing sinde's frigate. It was unknown who these assaulters were but they would not be returning to whence they came, that was for sure. Neilo's mission was to halt any means of escape for the smaller capital ship the enemy was sailing, and he, and his squad followed the order to the letter. The squadron went from corvette to corvette, frigate to frigate, destroying their propulsion systems and disabling their engines one by one. The enemies numbers were great, but they were sloppy and undisciplined. Their defeat was inevitable. It took some hours but the Confederacy reigned victorious. Many lives were lost but many more were saved by the efforts of the Confederate Navy.
After the battle, Neilo, and his squad were recognized for their valor and bravery in the face of danger. Neilo was promoted to Captain for his excellent leadership skills. As captain of the Navy, Neilo began leading multiple squadrons including his own. The captain continued his enlistment as a marine in the confederate navy up until he reached the rank of Admiral. At this point of his life, Neilo was a veteran. He had seen many events, fought many battles, and killed many people all in the name of the Confedearcy. Once the promotion ceremony was complete, Neilo was approached by the Grand Marshal, Genesis Rostu. He had congratulated the admiral for his new rank and thanked him for his many years of service. The two began to converse and soon become great comrades. Neilo began to share his vision for the Confederate Navy, his many, many ideas for how the navy should be commanded. Genesis, initially, did not completely follow his ideas but, after showing him some paperwork of his plans, the Grand Marshal agreed with the admiral's vision and appointed him as High Admiral of the Confederate Navy.
