Widow of Mandalore
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
"It gives a whole new meaning to 'Can you hear me now?'."
-River Kryze.
Using the design of a tuning fork, River Kryze has developed an experimental weapon for combating users of Beskar armor. While the weapon has a strange look to it, the way it functions is rather frightening. Using a vibration cell within the pommel of the blade, the tips of the blade are charged, and when they strike an opponent, the release a weaponized sonic attack the reverberates inside the armor of the target, causing damage to their internals. The open blade design is intended to catch the weapons of the attacker, and disarm them, then following up with a strike to the head or torso. A strike to the head will result in nausea, dizziness, or the rupturing of the ear drums, as the sonic impact will disrupt the stirrups in the ears. A strike to the torso can damage internal organs, or at the very least cause a great deal of discomfort to the one hit with the weapon.

- Using a gap in between the blades, the user can use the weapon for two fold purposes. Catching the blade of the attacker, or stabbing into the joints and rendering their target crippled in the process.
- Utilizing sonic vibrations as a method of attack, the blades are used to cause internal damage to the one it strikes, and ideally hampering their fighting ability.
- Using a Vibration cell in the pommel, the blades are capable of doing damage to armor clad opponents.
- Blowback: The blade is effective against opponents clad in heavy armor. The harder the metal of the user, the more damaging the weapon.
- Swift as the Wind: Being a lightweight, the weapon, this blade is very useful for Mandalorians that are aimed at quick strikes and sword play.
- Close Ranged: For proper usage, the blade has to be used up close and personal, and requires the user to strike at the torso or head to get the full use out of the weapon.
- Not the Best Tool for the Job: Designed to combat Beskar, the blades work using the density of armor as a measurement for how powerful it’s sonic backlash is. As such, the weaker the armor, the less effective the weapon is.
- Going Commando: Materials wore under the armor can lessen the effect of the sonic aspect of the weapon, making one section of its utility entirely nullified.
