  Honor. It is always about honor.​

  
  Since she was a girl, Himeko was constantly reminded of the Atrisian duty to bring honor to her family, to ascend within the Imperial Court, and to stand as a rival to the most powerful families of the Empire. It was her duty to study the arts of war, strategy, and guile. "Outwit your enemy, and you have already won," her father, Katashi, would say. But she wanted so much more than petty politics and shady familial alliances. She wanted to help people, to heal them of their ailments and watch them grow into something beautiful.
  
  Her formative years were spent in the family study, where she consumed hundreds of books and memoirs to further her understanding of combat techniques. When she wasn't buried in dusty Atrisian scripts, she was tasked with tutoring her younger brother, Aiko, the 'Dragon of House Chiyo.' Or so her father called him. Preparing young Aiko for his future only reminded Himeko of what she'd been robbed of.
  
  It was under the secret tutelage of her mentor, Takara Soto, that Himeko's true callings were revealed. Her natural ability with the sword was refined with deadly precision, and her affinity for botany was fostered with care and poise.
  
  It all would end when Katashi informed his daughter one evening that she would be leaving Atrisia. In order to bring House Chiyo great virtue, she would be sent as alms to the New Jedi Order. She would train, learn, and grow in the ways of the Force, and when she returned a Jedi Knight, he would get the recognition he feels he deserves. Little did he know that she would vow to never return. She took a new name, 'Jun', and cut her hair. She took up the mantle of a Jedi for herself. War and cunning were traded for humility and healing. No longer would Jun be a cog in the Atrisian Court, but rather a tool of the Force.

  Personality​

  
  Jun has always been dutifully determined to prove herself to others. She often goes above and beyond in her training, studies, and practice to show her dedication. In her formative years, Jun spent countless hours studying the art of war and dueling, honing her skills on a conceptual level in addition to her innate physical abilities. Her tactical approach to combat makes her a particularly skilled martial artist, a trait that bolsters her favored lightsaber form, Makashi. Despite the noble lifestyle she was raised in, Jun has grown to be a very humble girl. She offers her abilities as a Force healer to those in need, and often finds herself on the backlines tending to the wounded.
  
  An important trait that is often overlooked by Atrisian nobility is honesty. Jun tries her best to be transparent with her friends, believing that the zealous secrecy among her people has only done more harm than good. While finesse and wits are certainly useful tools, Jun struggles to accept they are paramount to navigating every situation - though she is not above using her cunning to get what she needs or wants. Oftentimes, Jun finds that her upbringing has isolated her from the real galaxy beyond Atrisia. She gratefully consumes as much knowledge and nuance as she can.
  
  Growing up under the shadow of a power-hungry man has left Jun with something of a negative father complex. While she realized not all men in positions of power are the same scheming fools as her father and his noble allies, Jun finds it difficult to see virtue in politicians and high-ranking officials - particularly men. As such, Jun prefers mentors and teachers who are strong, dutiful women, whom she has been known to follow blindly.
