Hocus Pocus

The black Orchid... massive and from the Black Rose itself. Their only real ship that had been made for them and by them.. it had grown up and as Seras stood in the bridge of the ship it had been pressurized for her to move around in without her full suit. No mechanical mask, no chest pieces and thick armor just her black robes she would have to change out of once they arrived but for now as the ship itself sailed across the void. She could see it. They had brought some of his men, soldiers mto train along with her black rose units. They had brought information about technology that would and could be used to conceal the planet. She was leading the way though as her seat on the bridge shifted and formed. In the air the scent of the death spores that protected the ship could be scented but without a purpose they were inert for the moment. Heading towards Dathomir where the chance they could find remains of what she was looking for. training purposes and building up everything that they would need.

Jack had chosen to travel on the Black Orchid rather than on his own ship that had jumped to light speed shortly behind them and would arrive with them, Jack wanted some sort of backup that was loyal to him, Seras might be his master and teacher, but he would be a fool to completely trust her, that was why he wore his armour at all times on the ship, there was a ton of spores of some sort floating around in the air and the last thing he wanted was a lungful of something that would rot out his lungs, that's what the cigars were for. Jack made his way towards the bridge he didn't actually know what they were going for something related to force training he assumed, but it could also have something to do with the nightcloak system deployed there hundreds of years ago, they could be a pretty nasty weapon if Seras was going to rebuild them, or maybe she had other plans for them, they're light absorbing systems could be used to help hide that miserable iceball of a planet that she was based on, Jack wanted to find out.

He pressed the intercomm next to the organic blast door to the bridge. "Permission to enter the bridge master?"

"Permission granted." Looking at her while she was moving around a little. THe red spores clung to the armor of the others but she was used to it when she looked towards hi. Dathomir itself was different thanks to the mandalorians and witches now. They had been developing off and on, they had been trying to make something she knew and Venefica had a purpose here long ago with their child. A little garhoon hybrid trained by the witches that would serve a purpose. The garhoon herself grinned looking at the ship scanners where they could see debris from a number of ships. It was around the planet and she wanted to test it, she wanted to search it all but remained there as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Dathomir is interesrting, it seems I keep having to return here."

Jack stepped onto the bridge and looked out the viewport as his master spoke up about Dathomir.

"It's deadly too." He said "That's why I'm carryin' a rifle that can take out a tank or three." Jack refenced the unassuming slugthrower rifle slung over his shoulder. "That place'll chew you up and spit you out on a good day, only crazy mother frakkers willingly come here."

Although Jack hadn't complained up until now, placing him firmly within that 'crazy mother frakkers' role, he had been here once before with Grace, pulling some sort of parasitic armour off of another student, it was about eight month ago now and he wondered if either of them were still around.

"I hope you don't mind but I invited some friends." Jack said as the DDC Hot Drop reverted to realspace about twelve kilometers off their port bow.

Looking at him when he spoke and brought in a ship she shrugged. Not really worries about it... more meat for the grinder that was research and advancing the understanding of the force or science.Seras was going around when she let the captain of the ship work with it and head down towards the planet. Compared to many though she thrived in a dangerous place and she enjoyed the idea of it. Dathomir would prove something to go into as they were getting closer to the debris fields. Searching around it with scanners but she was sending some shuttles to the surface to retrieve samples. "We'll collect some of the creatures and locals who try and attack us. THe nightsisters might not like me being around but they shall serve a purpose."

Collection collection collection, was all about new subjects, Jack wanted to kill something for feth's sake, not cage something up, it was so unsatisfying, all the danger and the build up, but with none of the pay off at the end, it but at least he would end up leaning something, probably, his master had yet to teach him anything, which was annoying to him, he had signed on to learn, not to be dragged around every corner of the galaxy and have to scrape every bit of knowledge he was looking for by his own hand. Jack was not a patient man and everyday that passed without a lesson his anger grew, ironically making him stronger although he didn't realise it at the moment, all Jack saw were excuses and speed bumps. He repeated the code of the Sith in his mind to focus himself 'Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The force shall free me.' It was something that was on his mind a lot lately, he had been repeating it almost like a prayer, drawing strength from it.

"Collect them for what exactly? I'm the muscle, not the karaking brains, keep things important poodoo away from me and I'll find some way to kark everything up."

She looked at him and raised an eyebrow while entering a small alcove. Her armor was there so that she could get the chest piece on and her throat guard. To let her breathe until she spoke. "Your muscles will get to flex soon enough, I only have so much space for subjects and what is not taken can't be allowed to live and seek revenge. Can't have someone randomly years from now interrupting my experiments now can I." She said that as the black orchid itself opened the hanger bays and started taking debris in, the ship for them to go in heading down towards the surface and on the scanners witches, nightsisters and other creatures. "First lesson for an apprentice is to know when to try and impress. You know my goal, you understand it yes? Now you are meant to fulfill it while also using your own strength to make yourself stronger."

So Seras wanted Jack to play an executioner, putting down those who might go against her in the future, but so be it, if this is what he would need to do to get training then that's what he'd do, Jack didn't have any moral opposition to it anyway, he was a mercenary exchanging his services for another service he just hoped it would be worth it when he started getting his training. Jack kicked his heels together to activate the magnetics in his boots as the Black Orchid entered the atmosphere to help prevent the turbulence from knocking him over.

"Know yer goal yes, understand it? Kark no, an I get the feeling you could care less about what I'm actually good at, an on toppa all that somethin tells me you didn't want an apprentice, you wanted an assistant." Jack said not really caring about his master hearing his thoughts, he figured she could have just read his mind anyway so there wasn't really any point in trying to hide them.

Seras remained looking out the view port and spoke not really acknowledging him. "An apprentice serves a purpose to assist their master until they are strong enough." There was a look when the ship arrived and she was heading out now when she slid a hand for a few of the others. THen she waited until they were there and fighting, attacking nightsisters who couldn't summon or use rancors because of the darkside was a great deal easier then one might think. Once they were made to be silent as she spoke looking at him. "Now when you attack use your aggressive feeling, pull at them, draw on them and allow the force to come from your hands."

'Pull at then with the force?' Jack thought to himself, was Sares trying him to actually physically pull at the nightsisters with the force, or do something else, he didn't quite understand her meaning. Jack felt something and pulled his lightsaber and activated it with the familiar [italic]*Snap-Hiss*[/italic] and crimson glow, his attacks up until now were far from efficient but they were brutal and every blow was a killing one, mostly because he lacked the fun control or grace to do anything else. When he finally mentally locked on the what he felt Jack pointed his lightsaber straight out and looked lik was concentrating pretty hard on something, when suddenly there was a scream and a nightsister came flying out of the jungle and found herself impaled on Jack's lightsaber.

"Like that?" Jack asked with a smug look on his face so obvious it could be seen through his cloth mask.

Seras looked at him and at first he seemed to not be able to do it and then there was a woman impaled on his blade. "Yes... a little less waiting but prqactice your ability to use telekinesis." She wanted him to learn his lessons but standing in a room would be not that helpful... no he needed to be able to learn in the field as others did... as she did... so let him kill a few things and practice. "Try and improve upon your technique not everyone is going to just land on your saber." Seras was walking and seeing what she needed to tear apart to get to the prize inside.. she wanted some of those rancors and some of the debris they had from ancient times.

"Fine fine." Jack said as put his lightsaber away.

Jack reached out to the jungle with his mind, feeling for life, this jungle was full of it, but it was also full of death, full of light, but even more dark, the entire planet was steeped in the dark side, it would have been sickening if Jack himself wasn't trying to immerse himself into it. Jack felt three lives just beyond the treeline and drew his blaster pistol, he lightly brushed their minds and felt a surge of fear, it was pretty clear that they all thought that they were hidden, and the fear was them realising that wasn't true. No longer did he just gently brush them, now he grabbed them, violently throwing their bodies like a trio of discarded ration wrappers, as they sailed into the sent a single shot flying towards each of them, even with the strain that was clear on the uncovered parts of his face, he was able to connect each shot, that was where his real skills lied with his 'tools' rather than with the force.

"There, like that?" Jack said in his usual cocky tone.
