- Gatekeeper: The gatekeeper is Adas, King of Korriban. Large and imposing, his visage is still hidden by the infamous armor that he clad himself in during his reign so many millennia ago. To this day the gatekeeper has a will of their own. Aggressive, haughty and assured of their own superiority it relinquishes knowledge only if the seeker is worthy according to them. Even if accepted Adas has an eccentric way. Some days he might answer any and all questions. A different day he might find himself in a grim mood, where he will only speak of past victories and the perceived demise of his people. Strangely enough the gatekeeper seems to have a better idea of what is happening around him (and what has happened in the past) than a gatekeeper strictly speaking should. Carach's experiments with the holocron did not reveal an actual spirit attached to the artifact. The current running theory is that after so many millennia, the crystal lattice has soaked up some of the personalities and knowledge of its handlers. Much like droids who go without regular wiping might exhibit peculiar behavior. The most surprising day was when Adas relayed a dozen poems. One after another, apparently a closely-guarded secret, he had been working on during his initial conquests. Carach did not quite expect a warrior-poet here.
- Description: The Holocron of Adas was the first ever Sith holocron created in the Galaxy, knowledge gleaned from the ancient Rakata, who had come to conquer Korriban during the reign of King Adas. Unlike the later creations this Holocron has a certain simplicity to it. Shaped from alchemized metals. Plain and unadorned, strict lines that symbolized the pyramids of Korriban. It breathed the straightforward nature of Adas. It is unassuming and that is what makes it special.
- Accessibility: One must pass Adas' judgement to gain entry to the knowledge within. Even then, with that judgement passed, Adas is an unorthodox gatekeeper with a mind of his own. Some days they will answer any question posed to them. Sometimes they will stay silent for a week. While it is possible to draw information straight from the crystal lattice, this is a complicated operation. The old nature of its construction demands absolute concentration and caution. A single mistake could destroy an heritage of millennia.
- Security: The Gatekeeper is capable of influencing the minds of those around it. It hasn't been unheard of to find brothers killed by one another, while they fought over this artifact.

The Holocron of Adas was created by King Adas of Korriban. After the conquering of Korriban and the subjugation of his people, one day strange aliens descended down from the skies above. The Rakata had arrived. At first they came with knowledge and information. Teaching the self-proclaimed Sith'ari how to create holocrons, deepening out their understanding of the Darkside and more. At first there was a tentative understanding. Until the day came that Adas realized these aliens were not send by the Force to assist its champion. They came as conquerors and soon they'd swipe through Korriban, laying claim to his Empire and enslaving his people.
He recorded all his knowledge into a Holocron of his own.
Ensuring that even if he was to die in the coming battle, that his Empire would live on. Guided by his knowledge. Within he recorded the histories of Korriban, its geography and secrets. He spoke of his people. The Pureblooded. Of their laws and their rites. Then... then he spoke of the Rakata. Counseling to distrust them, expressing their weaknesses, while showing respect for their strength.
Plans to spread his kingdom past Korriban, once the Rakata were subjugated and their technology taken or them. How to create more holocrons. His mastery of Magic and Alchemy, an introspective on the nature of the Force. His role as the Sith'ari and musings on what his passing could mean, if it occurred. A list. The list of his accomplishments. The individuals he killed, where he killed them and how.
Anything more and the Gatekeeper becomes silent. His eyes hidden and obscured, but he judges and weighs. He does not say any more.
If there is more knowledge to be found within the Holocron Adas keeps it to himself. Maybe one day the ancient King of Korriban will find someone worthy, maybe.
