Yup. I stole it. Sue me.

With all rights to the original idea being not myself, I solely wish to accomplish the very same as mentioned - to have as many PC Sith or Darkside Oriented Masters coming together, and imbueing a Holo with their rare knowledges.

Everything, including beliefs, theological ideals, prophecies, rare abilities all the way to common knowledge. It will be a Holocron to combat the one made by the Jedi, and would be available to students whom could prove themselves worthy.

Mayhap we can vote on a person whom would watch over it as well, or a group...call em the Gaurdians of History or some mumbo jumbo.

What says everyone? I will likely not include the Alch info amassed by Pikiran, as he is greedy and is looking to challenge Rave for title of most informed Alchemist - can't do that with everyone knowing it. But Zaiden will definitely include everything from proper stealth techniques for acolytes all the way to Master, Sith Spells, the meager Alch knowledge he has, Runes and their applications to aid spells, crafting of Holo's and lastly the basics of Umbrakinetics.

So we already have a small amount to add. Remember, anything goes!

How would it be known unless the others speak of it? It could be said also that those putting their information within needn't know whom else did the same, therefore as far as they are aware it houses knowledge they already possess.

Well as it is, its not specifically Sith making it. Damien is the crafter at the moment, unless an IC thread changes the idea, so its actually a Prime member and Dark Jedi that has the urge. Its just open to Sith to make this addition.

Technically Braith doesn't have to have any idea Sith are actually going to give info. For all she knows it could be Dark Jedi specifically.

Upon seeing the Jedi Mass Holocron, I, too, thought about making a Sith variant. I thought it would be neat to have, a collective thought of all the Sith. But Sith aren't known to share. Unlike Jedi, who tend to keep holocrons easily accessible, Sith lock them away. Put them behind trap after trap to keep the weak out after they die, or they hoard it in a secret collection.

The concept is awesome. But most Sith wont share, and you'll end up missing quite a bit.

Technically I haven't been made aware of anything IC, so I'm making assumptions.

But if you do want her trust, and any modicum of her knowledge, then I suggest you have a caretaker found for the device first.

(And we can't tell the girlfriend, otherwise we all die).

I don't see this being as full as the Jedi Version. The Sith are very secretive and enjoy keeping their skills to themselves. Avoids people from learning to much about them and in the end capable of killing them. Most Sith, even canon Sith are about preservation of self instead of preservation of the group. We could get into this but yeah, good luck man

I'd have to +1 Spencer and Ferus on this one. While the Jedi might do this to come together and defeat the Dark Side, the Sith and other such darksiders don't reside in the same state of mind as the Jedi. Almost all Sith simply want to further their own agenda, and adding to the holocron won't generally fit their needs. While this is a good idea and I wish you the best of luck in making it happen, I don't think it's something darksiders would find beneficial to themselves.

Basically, it makes sense OOC but not so much IC.

I will also call BS on Sith not sharing, just look at the Telos Holocron.

It just isn't in my character interests to allow knowledge of converting ambient force energy to fall into Sith hands.

If you want a dark side holocron similar to the Telos Holocron, then I recommend a PM or group conversation with interested parties. There are ways to shut out even Dark Lords of the Sith, it just requires a lot of work to properly configure it.

and yes I am entirely to lazy to switch to a darkside alt
