Intent: To carry over the memory of my very first Star Wars character when I started RPing in this universe years ago, and to eventually play some part in the story of the sisters Ameli Trahir, Aveline Cuiléin and Vaermina where they might learn something about their father.

come across it.Gatekeeper: The gatekeeper is modelled after Darth Trahir, and appears to be his exact copy. Darth Trahir was a Vahla, with short black hair, standing roughly two meters tall and with an athletic build. His eyes were of a pale shade of blue. The creator was a Sith at heart, but devious in nature. His appearance changes depending on who activates the holocron. He was once a Jedi, and if faced with a Light Sided presence he will appear in his old Jedi robes and tunics. If put before a Dark Sided presence, he will default to his true appearance, hooded dark robes and black tunics of the Sith.
Darth Trahir considered himself a master manipulator, and the gatekeeper reflects this. He deeply believes in the Sith teachings and their code, and has some strong opinions on what he considered to be a true Sith. The gatekeeper's views puts an emphasis on cunning schemes and power for power's sake, and abhors recklessness and violence for the pleasure of it. The first interactions with the gatekeeper would have a focus on the philosophical, where he seeks to bring the person over to his way of thinking. He might sprinkle a few lessons and knowledge in to string a person along, but the true powers and secrets of this holocron are reserved for those who fully embody and subscribe to his teachings.
As previously mentioned, should the person using this holocron be of the Light, he will appear in traditional Jedi attire. His demeanour will change to fit this image as well, playing the part of a wise old Master, both patient and calm, as he attempts to slowly string them along, leaving crumbles of knowledge in the hope of setting them on the path towards the Dark Side. He has great knowledge of the ways of the Jedi as the creator used to be one himself, yet ultimately he found them hypocritcal and their knowledge incomplete and wanting. This conclusion is one he will hope to guide others towards as well.
Description: The holocron has the shape of a pyramid. Its edges and frame has gold plating, protecting the main body, which has the appearance of glass. Inside it there's a mist of grey, seemingly alive and glowing. The clouds of takes on a different colour depending on who activates it. If it's touched by a Dark Sided presence, it morphs into various shades of red that shifts about inside it. If it is in the presence of a Light Sider, the clouds take on various shades of blue.
DEFENSES
Accessibility: Light, dark, neutral - the alignment matters little to this holocron. The only requirement is the ability to wield the Force. One can meditate on it, and reach out to touch it with the Force, and it will open.
Security: The holocron requires a Force presence to open. There are no real security measures installed, and so it can be accessed by any Force Sensitive seeking to open it. The creator opted for a slow and verbal corruption should a Light Sider come across it. Turning Jedi to the Dark Side was something of a favourite pastime of the creator, something reflected in the personality of the gatekeeper as well. However, should the holocron be faced by a Jedi of high ranking who it deems incorruptible, the gatekeeper might choose to lock itself from that particular presence, refusing to open itself to that individual again.
CONTENT INFORMATION
The content of this holocron is a full record of everything Darth Trahir knew. It includes philosophies of the Jedi Order and the Sith, however views and how they are presented reflects heavily on the creator's own bias, which leans heavily in favour of the Sith. In terms of lightsaber combat, from his Jedi days his focus was on Soresu, but after falling to the Dark Side his focus shifted to Makashi, favouring the duelist's approach. Much like his lightsaber style, his abilities within the Force focused on defensive abilities early in his career. Later he shifted interest and focus towards illusions and Sith sorcery in particular. A vast amount of time after becoming a Sith Lord was spent diving into teachings and forbidden knowledge that he felt the Jedi had kept from him.
Within this holocron one can expect to find the following, however anything relating to Sith sorcery is reserved for those he deem worthy successors to himself:
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
This holocron was made by Darth Trahir, a Sith Lord. It was meant to store everything he had learned. Should he one day fall, it was meant to ensure his contribution to the Sith and his impact on the Galaxy on a whole would not be allowed to be forgotten. Passing on his knowledge to the future generations was one way of doing this, something the Sith Lord also did in his lifetime. However, his motivation then was selfish, deriving pleasure from knowing he was the source of power and knowledge, something he wished to be revered for. The holocron became Trahir's prized possession. He was obsessed not only with obtaining immense power, but holding onto it forever in immortality.
Before becoming Darth Trahir his name was Shokato Cuiléin. Like his brother he became inducted into the Jedi Order as a child. His parents were both Vahla, though not members of the Ember of Vahl. They made little impression on the boy save for leaving pleasant memories from a simpler time.
His time with the Jedi followed a predictable pattern. He went through the many lessons Padawans did, and he performed above average. Later he became entrusted to a Jedi Knight by the name of Sebastian. From him he learned much, and the two developed a close bond. In time the young Cuiléin became a Jedi Knight himself, and his master and friend rose to become a Jedi Master. Here too his career followed a pattern repeated by many other Knights, involving various missions and studies.
The great turning point in his life was when Sebastian died. His death alone had been hard enough to take, but from his point of view the Jedi were to blame. Sebastian had been on a world where it had been decided the Republic would follow a scorched earth policy. Evacuation notice was given, though not enough time was given to evacuate the sick and the old, who could not travel on their own accord. Sebastian remained with them and so sacrificed himself. This Shokato viewed as a great betrayal, and when later confronting the Jedi Council at the time he found their excuses greatly wanting.
It was at this very vulnerable stage of his life, he became exposed to a very eloquent and persuasive Sith named Darth Razkiel. He ensured that the corruption and fall of Shokato became complete, and he turned to the Dark Side, becoming Razkiel’s apprentice. He was made to show the hypocrisy and incomplete teachings of the Jedi, and he grew to hate them. His rise to power was quick, and he soon became a Sith Lord in his own right, taking the name Darth Trahir to be his own.
As a Sith, Trahir took many apprentices, though the only one of note was a Shistavanen who later took the name Darth Ira. Trahir made a name for himself as a duelist, felling many Jedi with his blade. Most notably his own brother, Ruaidri, a Jedi temple guard. He did not kill his brother, instead capturing him alive, freezing his body down in carbonite. Trahir’s aim was to preserve the body of his brother, should the day come when his own might fail. Though he did not yet possess the power to do so, he was aware of one ability called Essence Transfer. Ruaidri became his prepared victim, should the day ever come.
However, his passion became studying the hidden techniques of the Dark Side, the very same he felt the Jedi had hid from him due to fear that their own power and position might become usurped. He discovered he had an affinity for Sith Sorcery, and delved deep into whatever tomes and holocrons he could find.
Darth Trahir had three children: Ameli, Vaermina and Aveline. This holocron was partially made for them, in the hopes that through it he might help guide them to the one true path, the way of the Sith. Ameli was his firstborn, her father's princess and jewel of his dark empire. She had a sheltered childhood and was raised in the ways of the Sith, but she did not take to the teachings well, and grew spoiled and entitled. Aveline then became her sister's polar opposite. She was abandoned by Trahir as a child, left to be raised by the Jedi. It was an experiment, with the rationale being that Aveline would receive the same upbringing that Trahir himself did as a Jedi, and when she became mature he would illuminate her and bring her back under his wing. Vaermina on the other hand was an afterthought, a dark horse to be forgotten unless she proved herself useful. She was born and raised among the Witches of Dathomir, a last resort heir should the other two fail to impress him.
Darth Trahir had many plans, and was decidedly on the rise, until some day he simply vanished. His last known act was to lay siege to a distant world. The world was mysteriously described by him as his final conquest. Within it, he expected to find knowledge that would allow him to accomplish his ultimate goal. However, Trahir vanished during the invasion without a trace. He was presumed dead by his crew, though no corpse nor any proof of his death was ever found. The only thing left of the Sith Lord were his daughters, and his holocron. The holocron became lost for a time, until, the Force working in mysterious ways, it found its way to one of his daughters.
