DESCRIPTION
Created in the year of 621 ABY, the Holocron of Jedi Master Gro Slubb (556 - 639 ABY) has a old and weathered frame and shimmers with a soft white light. It is cubical in shape per default but its corners will turn and levitate out from the main body when imbued with the force from someone not attuned to the dark side. In this process, it will open up and gain a brighter glow which can illuminate a small area around it. Seeing as the Weequay Master who crafted it was of a similar size as a human, the holocron also has similar proportions to the more traditional ones. When first found, three of the corner pieces were missing. A moderately complicated restoration process had to be conducted in order to make the holocron function again.

Despite having been around for a few hundred years, it is once more functioning at full capacity after the restoration. Having pondered and recorded his extensive thoughts on how to use the force to hide a person's presence. Partially, this knowledge regards how to become harder to detect optically and can even work to confuse or hide the force user from heat sensors and other sensors. Furthermore, his ideas on how to shrink one's force presence are also well preserved and contains techniques on how to shrink a person's force presence that could otherwise be felt by other force users for extended periods of time.

When interacting with the holocron and what it has preserved of Master Gro, it becomes evident that his teachings are partially inspired by the Myrkr wildlife. In particular the dynamics between the Ysalamir who have adapted to survive the force sensitive Vornskr. In a way, the teachings he shares are primarily focused on moving unnoticed to avoid hostilities rather than to set up ambushes or other more hostile actions.

A creative force user need not follow in the footsteps laid out by the Holocron's creator, however, and can use and develop the techniques in other directions. Still, even when following the teachings of Jedi Master Gro Slubb, a force user may learn how to hide their force presence well enough to avoid being targeted by mental attacks or found through their force signature.

While the force techniques which can be learned through interacting with the holocron are advanced, Master Gro appears to have been a good teacher and have managed to competently explain most concepts in ways which can be relatively easy to grasp compared to reading heaps upon heaps of books by the Jedi Archives. This does, however, not mean that learning from the holocron is easy. The Weequay Master was particular about his students in his days and will be much more reluctant to part with his information when interacting with prideful, slothful, impatient or aggressively natured people. This does not mean that he treats more virtuous students benevolently and still have high expectations of diligence and a good heart before sharing his more coveted pieces of information.

Despite his advanced age at the moment of creating the Holocron, Gro Slubb appears to be a healthy and athletic individual on the image which the holocron projects of him. If prodded, he will reminisce about his grand adventures on Myrkr and how he once, through the aid of the force, befriended a Ysalamir critter in order to better escape a viscous pack of Vornskrs. He may also reveal several good mushroom locations on the planet as well as a few spots where fresh water can be found along with a number of areas which were particularly heavily populated by the Vornskr. Naturally, these circumstances may very well have changed over the years.

Unfortunately, there is no codex submission for Gro Slubb. I made him up when writing the submission and have not written anything about him anywhere else.
