To boldly alchemize what no one alchemized before
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
The HoloDex password manager was originally designed based on the then-Ancient Eye State Media's proprietary password management system, which was stolen by Petria when the Underground attacked. As with any good password management system, the HoloDex features two-factor authentication. Using a 512-bit asymmetric encryption scheme, it means that the users hold a public key to encrypt the master passwords associated with each user when they wish to use the password management system, as well as the passwords its users wish to have stored, and also import passwords from other password management systems, and match existing passwords in other systems, HoloNet accounts to a password management account. Should the user forget one of the two sets of credentials required to access the password management system, the security questions are asked as a means to retrieve them, with the questions chosen as well as their answers being encrypted, too.
Not only the password generator module allows to generate ransom passwords with certain criteria, the HoloDex also comes with randomized encryption. However, the randomization of password encryption is not without its problems: since the lifespan of encryption keys is about one hour, it means that slicers have one hour from the monent they steal a private decryption key to decrypt the master passwords associated with specific user accounts.

- 512-bit asymmetrical encryption with periodic randomization of encryption keys
- Two-factor authentication of the accounts associated with the users
- Random password generator
- Provides enhanced password security
- Periodic randomization of encryption keys
- Stealing the private decryption key, while not straightforward, can temporarily render the passwords vulnerable (for about one hour at most)
