Description: A project long put away by the engineering department of Rendili Stardrive due to the craft being far too expensive to field as a result of its high energy requirements to power to its heavy laser cannons, advanced shield generator, and high engine power tax. However, because of recent developments of experimental technology with agents of the Silver Jedi Order, who have for a time lately been working on such advanced reactor variants, Rendili Stardrive finally has a power source they can produce that will run the Honorable Class efficiently and without major investments in designing a new reactor themselves that wouldn't be unstable.
Armed with four heavy class laser cannons to tear through enemy fighters, and a single proton torpedo launcher with an expanded tube for extra warheads as its tool against larger vessels, the new starfighter to enter the battlefield is a power house of a threat to enemy snub fighters. Boasting an advanced shield generator as well, it can also deal with some punishment before the hull is at risk, which is much appreciated by the pilots as the testing showed that the Honorable Class was rather fragile, its light frame shaky in atmosphere and its design not being very aerodynamic, and that should the shields fail they were not confidant in its ability to survive a direct hit.
Thankfully its a fast fighter though, and hard to disable. The engine units heavy power tax having been a problem before, but thankfully being left in place with the addition of the Silver Jedi's reactor variant. As for its ability to resist being disabled, this elite starfighter, unlike some other Rendili products, sports a faraday cage over chaff launchers. In this manner it reists electronic damage like ion cannons and EMPs, though it doesn't bear any flares or chaff to divert homing missiles. More work would be required or funding before such would be added.
