Description: If you're a beast hunter you know it can be difficult to trap larger prey and hold them while you or your comrades deliver the kill/knockout shot. And hey sometimes traps don't work, and that's okay, so for those times when they fail or you have to get up in close with the beast, the Hook Line & Sinker Harpoon Gun is your friend. It's a heavy harpoon gun with a cable attached to spear so you can stick those monsters and hold them down.
Strengths. If you're looking for a weapon with enough puncturing power to pierce the toughest of beast hides then this is what you want. The HLS will fire swiftly and cleanly and pierce a beasts hide before the harpoon expands inside like a grappling hook making sure it sticks to cause massive internal bleeding and to allow you to hold on while the cable is attached. But what makes this weapon so fantastic is its simple and easy design. There are three buttons on the weapon's rear by the trigger, the button to release the harpoon from the cable, the safety, and the button to use the weapon's powerful electric motor to reel in prey. It's easy to use and a child could master it. Simply point and shoot.
Weaknesses. You have one shot, one and only shot. If you miss then you either have to reel in the harpoon or if it gets stuck to a target you did not intend for you need to detach the cable from the harpoon and if you have spares connect the cable once more and fire. It's a very archaic to say the least and not to mention the lower amount of range you have with this weapon means you have to be within charging distance of said beast with a heavy harpoon gun that could very well hinder your ability to run with a 36kg weapon in your hands.
Summary. While it does have its flaws the HLS is a great tool for dealing with beasts and other baddies you might come face to face with on hunting trips. And while it's primarily made for dealing with monsters you could just be a sick person who wants to use it on people, but hey we're not ones to judge after all.
