Hooked on a feeling (Leori)

Orihime had gotten the good news, her sister was around somewhat more and aside from that she had a chance to have a real master now... Master Leori was someone her mother knew and trusted that was more then good enough for her to trust her and agree to it. Afterall it would be very disheartening if one of them was into it and the other wasn't. She was moving around the one room a little hyper in excitement and enjoyment of the idea while she spoke. "Oh I can't wait until my master comes."

It had been a number of years since Leori had had an apprentice. She only hoped that she could provide her padawan with some guidance and teach her a thing or two. However, she had yet to meet the young woman that she would be training. There was no time like the present. And that’s where Leori was headed.

The Jedi Master had chosen a small training room for their meeting, as she wasn’t entirely sure how the day would go. Somehow she expected the young woman would be eager to get started since she’d already begun training with another and had been without a Master for some time.

Upon entering, she bowed slightly. “Greetings. I am Leori Sheltrak. I am pleased to meet you.”

Orihime looked up at her master as she stood there, her hands looking over the robes and equipment she had as she checked the custom suit of armored clothing her mother had made. The duraplast above her shoulders and waist with a utility belt holding her sabers, her visor and equipment. She looked up with a smile her eyes just like her mothers dark honey orbs with slightly paleish gold skin. She was more then happy while moving around and she stood up tall and ready. "Hello master, I am ready to begin."

Leori nodded. “Excellent. Before we can begin, I need to know what you’ve already learned. I’d like you to tell me as well as show me the skills you’ve learned.” That could take a while, but that was fine. There was no rush after all. She gestured for Orihime to begin.

Orihime had to think about it as she was chewing her lower lip nervously. She had a few ideas and had learned a great many things as it were while she smiled and thought more listing them off with her pupils dilating. "Well my mommy taught me and my sister how to use the force for comprehension, how to use my lightsabers, mental shields and barriers, how to use the force to speed up my body and how to float."

Leori nodded. Some of the things mentioned she would have to test for herself, but there were still things that the young one could demonstrate. “Show me what you can do,” she repeated without scolding her. After all, she had partially listened to the instructions. However, she realized that she might have to simplify her directions. It had been many years since she’d worked with children after all. But it would be good practice.

Orihime was looking at her and thinking how to begin, there was a great deal of tings she had to work with. Her hands grasping the sabers as the golden hilts flickered activating with twin staffs for a moment and then settling into two blades. She breathed in letting her mind play out at being lighter then air and slowly the force was whipping some of her hair around. She was hovering just a little off the ground while she steadied her breathing.
