Rekha walked towards the hangar her most recent shipment of food and alcohol were being delivered today. Jason was to have brought her a shipment of exotic items that he had gathered from the black market. She wondered what he would bring.

Her deal with HK-36 and [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] seemed to be going well she was able to make the payments each month and once in a while glean a bit of information that she could pass along. But the Protectorate’s influence was changing and she wondered how that would affect the business.

Rekha made a mental note to ask for a meeting with Siobhan something she had planned on for some time.
Rekha looked over at The Midnight Star, an XS Stock Light Freighter old by many measures but reliable. She always thought it was fitting that her ship had that name. Anyone a fan of holo movies would know where the name came from.

Rekha envisioned herself as the Lucky Lady, and when credits and political situations were once more favorable on Coruscant she would make every effort to get the Lucky Lady Cantina back, but for now she didn’t mind Bespin.
She had made some friends, and had a riding lesson every day on the thranta that soared the skies.

Now she just needed her delivery so she could go off to her lesson.

A small steady tone told her to look at communications. she lifted the comm from her pocket tilting her head as she read the message she made a face, so someone in the Core Worlds wanted a shipment taken out, they wanted to know if she wanted it. She groaned slightly, going into the core she wouldn't go alone. Green eyes quickly scanned everyone around her, who needed a job.

Bespin, the gas cloud of a planet, wasn't Noxu's first choice in vacation spots. Thankfully, what he was there for wasn't business. The arrival on the gas planet made him vaguely remember a time in his past with Kassey Daklin. That one visit to Bespin was more than enough to stave off his want to be on the planet ... ever... again. Unfortunately, business called. Not even he could ignore the call of work even though he desperately wanted to. Life was fickle. Making him work for a living.

Hours ago his ship The Ratchet had landed on the gods-forsaken ball of gas. Oddly enough, it seemed as though his own XS Freighter wasn't going to be the only one that had taken its landing that day. Small galaxy.

Fortunately, he wouldn't be around the spaceport to see the second freighter land. Instead, he was waiting in the nearby cantina: The High Clouds. Much to Noxu's own disappointment, the name wasn't what he'd thought it was supposed to imply. Well, can't get my partner all drugged up to make the deal easier, he mused.

It had been a while since he'd waited in the cantina and no one had arrived. It was time for him to take his leave of things and maybe scope out and around a bit to see if he could find the buyer. As he pushed his chair out away from the table, he stood up and let his long coat drop down to his ankles. Grabbing onto the sides of the coat, he pulled it forward to wrap around his sides a bit to cover the dual-blasters in their respective holsters. "Better luck next time," he smirked.

Casually, he began to make his way out the cantina and out the doorway. "Cantina meetings. They never work out," he shrugged slightly, talking to himself like he usually would.

In hand....hmm..well..

Rekha growled with frustration as she headed towards the one place that usually had someone hanging off the rafters looking for a job. She was trying to think of anyone else that she knew, that she trusted that she could on the fly call up and say....HELP! So not happening. She was exhaling hard when she started through the door her eyes were not adjusting as quickly as she liked. This did not stop her thought, she kept walking until she walked right into someone.

She put up her hands, they laid flat on someone's chest...male and...human. She blinked several times as her eyes adjusted. She squeezed her eyes tight then opened them.

She looked up, handsome. She blinked.

She tilted her head, well built. She could see...oh yeah...she could see.

OH but the million dollar question was most certainly the one she could taste on the tip of her tongue. "Sorry about that I should have been watching...nice drink...can I buy you another?" She smiled, pour on the charm just a bit Kaarde you know how to be a good girl..so be good. That was not the question, the question was yet to be asked.

His quick escape was cut short with a sudden bump into a random stranger. At first, his free hand tightened its grip on his blaster on his left as he knew how thieves and gypsies worked on all planets. His mind raced, I'm goin' to shoot 'em if they stole my creds. Yeah. Shoot 'em and run. Y'know, I don't got time for this anymore. Though, his thoughts were quickly cut short when his attention was drawn up the body of the woman that bumped into him.

In an instant, all his sly, sudden, and panicky feelings turned into something else.

"Sorry about that I should have been watching...nice drink...can I buy you another?"

There was a momentary pause as he gazed at the woman and tried to gather his bearings. As quick as his hand tightened its grip on his blaster, it released and raised up a bit to cross over his chest. A sly smirk came across his lips as was suddenly more at ease with his drink still in the right hand.

"I definitely don't think I can argue with an idea like that," he said with a light snicker.

Suddenly, the cantina was looking far more inviting than he previously thought. With a quick turn-about, he started to make his way back toward the inside. Out of the corner of his right eye, he looked over the woman at his side. There was something about her that made him both cautious and, at the same time, relaxed. It was a strange feeling, one he couldn't shake. He'd only hoped he could keep his bearings on him and not get too distracted.

"Do you buy drinks for all the guys you bump into?" he asked, his tone definitely leaning toward one that was more amused than not.

Rekha laughed like she always did, "only when they fit the criteria" She put her hand up motioning for two drinks, "don't guys have a criteria they use when they decide to buy a girl a drink?" She tilted her head slightly waiting to see how he took that little bit of conversation.

Her antsy nature however refused to give [member="Noxu Za'tire"] time to really respond, she stood back from the bar and looked him over, "you know..the...oo cute bottom" She leaned one way then the other, "ample...muscles.." then she looked up at him studying his face, "a face you wouldn't mind taking home" there was a pause and she let the words sink in, "to momma"

The drinks arrived two amber colored liquor, "a little whiskey takes the edge off" she reached for the glasses, handing one to him, and keeping one for herself, "So I'm Rekha, you are...."
