Hoping to hit the ground running

Hi all, I'm obviously Boxarox, pronounced box-uh-rocks. I'm happy to be here. I'm looking for a community that values a good story more than just PvP, and I have a good feeling about this site. :D

A little about me, I have been a Star Wars fan my entire life but when I'm not being a huge nerd I am an appliance repairman, it is my trade. I enjoy learning about science and reading science fiction.

My first character that I intend to create is a transplant from a different website. I wish to overhaul him to fit this website setting. He is a Mandalorian, but when I see the number of Clans I feel a bit overwhelmed. I feel that I might need to talk to someone to get more perspective on which one would suit and explain my character and his personality!
I wish to make him a pilot this time around.
my last installment of this character also included in his backstory a very unfortunate accident that required him to invest heavily in cybernetic body parts. Nothing too important, just his spine, arms, parts of his legs, and a plate holding his skull together! I don't know if Medical Technology support in your setting, I feel I could use some advice here too.

Again, I'm very glad to be with this community. I look forward to a lot of good stories!

I can't help you much with picking a clan, but!

The medical technology question? You can for sure do that! If they are just basic parts, you can just have them and go! If, however, they do special things (super strong, hide weapons in them, light fire from his ears, whatever, you get the idea) you should look in to writing them up for submission to the Factory - but only if they are going to do fancy things.

Thanks! I appreciate the input. His arms up to the shoulders were completely removed and the prosthetic arms have no special function, but they're high quality components, very durable and smooth with full articulation and gyroscope stability. The spine was completely shattered and the prosthetic replacement is similar to the arms, highly-quality, full articulation, above average hand-eye coordination with the arms, and the delay between thought and action is reduced but in all reality well trained humans can do the same thing.

Does any of that need a tech write up?
