SPECIAL FEATURES
- Possesses Mandalorian Vambraces
- Jetpack
- Limited HUD with 30minutes record time.
- Mobility: Horus's Beskar'gam takes an older approach, focusing on a balance between protection and mobility allowing him to move unhindered.
- Mandalorian Vambraces: Horus's Beskar'gam is equipped with old Mandalorian Vambraces, containing such gadgets as a grappling line, dart launcher, repulsors, shield emitter and a flamethrower.
- Lightsaber Resistant: While the beskar plating does not may Horus invincible, or as defensible as many other mandalorians, it does allow him to take a few lightsaber swipes to the chest/helmet/etc and live.
- Sectioned off: Horus's Beskar'gam does not provide much protection to certain areas to allow for greater mobility. This makes him weaker in areas like the upper arm, leg, and joints.
- Slugs: The plating of Horus's armor might not break under slugthrower fire, but it will transfer a lot of that force to Horus, giving him intense bruising and pain. The armorweave portions in comparison can be easily shredded by slugthrower fire or an errant slash.
Horus may not strictly be a Mandalorian citizen anymore, depending on what Mand'alor one asks, but he still has Mandalorian blood, and was raised on the Resol'nare. As part of a new Imperial Military project headed by Moff Balfour Horus is supposed to create a blend of Mandalorian fighting styles with Imperial regiment and discipline, creating the Imperial Supercommandos. As a small personal allowance Horus is allowed to have his own personal armor, with slightly different color scheme to denote his position as teacher and leader to the new recruits and commandos. This armor is made out quality Beskar, salvaged from his old armor, and has a few tricks up it's sleeve with Mandalorian Vambraces allowing Horus to change combat by lassoing, darting, repulsing, or burning enemy combatants.
Speaking from a strictly defensive standpoint the Beskar'gam is much lighter than most of it's cousins, weighing in at a decent 10 kilograms. This helps Horus stay mobile, as well as preserve fuel to improve flight times in combat. This comes at a cost however, with beskar only covering vital areas and Horus skimping out on a lot of usual attachments outside the Mandalorian Vambraces. The helmet comes with a very limited HUD, allowing the user to put up a small pre-loaded map in the corner and get on comm channels with other notables in the Empire. This, along with the vambraces, do not feature and hardening or special protection from EMP or Ion assault, other than the user's ability to get out of dodge via jetpack or natural maneuverability.
Overall the Beskar'gam provides Horus with a definite Imperial Iconography, along with moderate protection from blasters and lightsabers, a few combat tricks, and most importantly mobility.
