STRENGTHS
Armaments: Crammed full of guns and other goodies.
Protection: Combining thicc beskar plates with an armorweave undersuit, the user is very well protected against most forms of damage.
Eyes everywhere: The suit comes equipped with a ‘Kartayl’ model armor suite, which includes dozens of sensors, comms, and visor modes, as well as a tactical battlenet to aid the wearer in any combat situation.
On-site medic: The suit’s integrated Gar Baar'ur med system contains enough styms, adrenals, and other medical support to keep the wearer in fighting shape for long periods of time.
WEAKNESSES
Plating: Due to the nature of the armor plating as it shifts to adjust to the user’s movements, there are moments where gaps in the armor can be taken advantage of.
Weight: As the entire suit is made of beskar, as well as beskar plating over the armor’s weapons, it is extremely heavy, making it harder for the wearer to react as fast to threats.
EMP Vulnerable: While being built to withstand most physical forms of damage, the suit is not resistant to EMP blasts. Being caught in one will cause an almost complete systems shutdown.
Not so sneaky: While being a walking tank is cool, it doesn't lend very well to stealth. For some reason, banging around isn't the best tactic for a covert mission.
DESCRIPTION
The Hostile Pacification Suit (HPS) is in almost every form, a walking tank. Commissioned by Anora Vahn as a gift to her good friend Tyran, this monstrous hunk of beskar steel is meant to withstand damn near anything that’s thrown at it, while also throwing some back. It is filled to the brim with offensive measures, both ranged and melee, giving the wearer plenty of options in any scenario. Though the focus here is offensive tactics, the suit also comes with its fair share of countermeasures and other upgrades. Being commissioned from what is arguably Mandalore’s best arms manufacturer, some internal systems were added, those being the Kartayl armor subsystem suite and the Gar Baar'ur integrated medical system.
One of the main problems was getting the armor to fly. Thankfully, with a little tinkering from Shuklaar, CEO of Breshig, a modified version of the company’s Nasreyc combat boots came into being, allowing use of the repulsor tech to be integrated into the suit’s boots and gauntlets and for the suit’s wearer to fly, in addition to the original use of adhering to surfaces. If used in concentrated bursts, the repulsortech can also act as a light weapon or countermeasure, launching anything in its path in the opposite direction.
As the HPS is quite a bulky piece of equipment, it would need an incredible amount of work to don by oneself. So, in the light of making it easier to use by a singular pilot, hundreds of servos and hinges were installed toward the rear of the suit. When not in use, the suit may be stored in its closed position, from which iit can be opened and climbed into from the rear. In addition, while worn, the face plate may be retracted or lowered at any time. These functions, as well as the other systems and weapons integrated with the suit, may be controlled with gestures, voice commands, or a combination of both.
