Like its smaller counterpart the House Corek Beskad has seen little changes since its inception at the beginning of its use millennia ago. House Corek's style of beskad differs from the traditional beskad as instead of being a curved single edged sword it is a straight and flat double edged sword with a slight taper in the middle. The flat and straight blade is optimized, like the kal, for quick thrusting and slashing attacks that is only further enhanced by its razor edge.
While the design might be atypical of your usual beskad the materials used in its construction are not. The blade and tang are constructed from traditional Beskar lending it a vast amount of durability and a razor sharp edge. The hilt is constructed out of the sturdy and stylish Veshok wood native to Mandalore, the sheath is made of Thaelo leather as well as the hilt wrapping and aforementioned sheath is appointed with Electrum detailing.
Just like the Corek Kal the Corek Beskad features a two layer blade design with the outer layer being a softer beskar alloy while the inner layer is more rigid, giving the blade flexibility while retaining strength. Finger grooves carved into the hilt allow a tight grip while a leather hilt wrapping allowing a more comfortable grip. A self-sharpening sheath keeps the blade honed even while not in use and lastly magnetic attachment points allows the beskad to be hung almost anywhere on one's armor.
