DESCRIPTION
House Io is driven to have the most deadly weapons possible to supply their troops with, both to conquer foes who might otherwise be insurmountable, as well as deter attacks on territory they control. Sometimes that means being willing to go completely scorched earth on a target.
The lenses contain special elements in them that destabilize the energy bolt as it passes through, making its elements much more radioactive then would be possible normally as it exits the barrel. The radiation bolt does heavy damage to admit and shields, and the effects on tissue requires Anti-Rad medication to be administered within at least a day before permanent damage occurs, and that's if the sheer power of the bolt doesn't kill the target on the spot. This ruthless, inhumane weapon signifies the willingness to do anything to win, no matter how one will be remembered for using it, and a sign of just how lethal House Io technology is
