- Heavily modified B1 with Human Like Intelligence-Dedicated Mercenary Unit
- Highly Modular, onboard weapons and sensors can be swapped out
- Repaired Extremely Easily With Minimal Resources
- Able to fight Underwater or in outer space for a short time. Can operate in high or low temperature conditions
- Upgraded Chassis is difficult to damage
- B1 Chassis allows it to blend into Droid armies
- Servos render it as strong as a Wookiee and two times faster and more reflexive than a human
- Extensive Melee and hand to hand database
- Extensive Firearm database
- Extremely accurate targeting protocols
- Basic Pilot Protocols
- Compact Design allows it to be stored in massive numbers aboard special tanks, and drop pods
- Capable of Self Repair and Maintenance as long as repair kits are around
- Soldier of Fortune: The Droid serves as a money making arm of House Io, and as such, is programmed as soldiers for hire, body guards, and Bounty Hunters of the House, keeping seventy percent of all profits, the other thirty going to the House. It can serve in many capacities, side as standard infantry, Starfighter Pilot, or VIP escort. Can fight for nearly any willing and able to hits them.
- Economic Design: Can be stored en masse on special tanks and transports
- Smart: Many Iimitations have been removed on its intelligence and reasoning, making it as smart as a standard human soldier, and learns from every experience. Has all human emotions, but at half capacity at factory default. With time it becomes as Tough and Competent as a Fett Clone Soldier, surprising enemy commanders often with stubborn tenacity and strategies that improve over time. Because of its intelligence, it is accorded all rights as a House Io Citizen
- Protector: Programmed for utter Loyalty to House Io on a general basis, and to protect and defend it's interests wherever possible, with stringent secondary programming that prohibits it from betraying the House to achieve those objectives, with directives to manually shut down and reboot should they come into conflict. This makes it extremely unsympathetic by nature to Droids that espouse Anti-Organic ideology. This programming is so ingrained into it's mental architecture and coding that it cannot be overridden, not even with the Force
- Fixit: Able to be restored to full condition with minimal resources
- Modular: Can swap out weapons, sensors and equipment and upgrades extremely easily
- Commoner: Without the House's colors on it, it becomes incredibly difficult to distinguish it from an ordinary B1, and in fact is perfectly able to imitate their stupidity. This can be a source of paranoia fuel, as unless you think to scan it first or pay close attention (VERY CLOSE ATTENTION) to its joints, you are unlikely to suspect it is more than an ordinary B1
- Vibro: No Resistance to Vibroweapons
- Acid: Acid eats through it rapidly
- Slugthrowers: Slugthower rounds tear through its chassis rapidly
- Lightning: Lightning fries it easily
- Sonic: Sonic blasts through its chassis easily
- Lightsabers: Hahaha no.
House Io Mercenaries are retrofitted B1 Battle Droids given certain technology upgrades to make them vastly superior to common B1's and are rented out to various groups opposed to the House's enemies. Not considered Nuetralizers due to their retrofitted design and lack of Nuetralizers typical redundancies , They are nonetheless considered intelligent and sapient enough to be considered citizens under House Io Law, and are allowed to keep 70 percent of all profits they make in the field. House Io Mercenaries are deployed where plausible deniability for the House is a necessity, and when given the right coloring, virtually nothing can distinguish them from ordinary B1's.
When marching openly for the House they are given a dark blue and black coloring. If Mechanical Nuetralizers are the main Force for outright invasion and violent annihilation of the enemy, the Mercenaries are something akin to a National Guardsman or Army Reserve mixed with a Foreign Legion, and it's Primary job is to make the House Money, used as a firm secondary option or last resort before actually calling on mechanical Nuetralizer units, for if THEY have to be summoned, the situation truly IS out of hand...
Programmed with a General Loyalty to House Io and it's citizens, they also serve intentionally as a check on Xiphos and the Nuetralizers themselves...Io Mercenaries have the full authority to oppose both Xiphos and her closest family in the event they attempt to become tyrants over the rest of House Io's populace, be it through show trials, harsh edicts, or a direct attempt at crushing the House's Citizen/Soldier populace under their thumb.
