  • Description: The House Io Stormtrooper Corps is a fighting Force that specializes in Asymmetric, Defensive Warfare and Surgical Strikes against hardened targets. They are highly skilled Saboteurs and Crack Marine Units when the need arises, and possess thorough knowledge on combating Force Adepts. Cooperation and unit cohesion is emphasized heavily. Units are trained to use most modern firearms and have a general Familiarity with vehicle usage. They are well disciplined and rarely panic, and are taught to adapt and turn everything in the environment to their advantage

  • Combat Function: In the field, they move ahead of General Infantry Units, using a combination of sabotage, Anti Siege tactics and Guerilla Warfare for both Offensive and Defensive purposes, and calling in Artillery strikes if used offensively, and killing powerful units or single targets with massed attacks from all angles, laying boobytraps in any area with a heavy enemy presence, and never hesitate to resort to Psychological Warfare and terror causing strategems. They are a cagey, vicious foe, especially when cornered, and are given minor genetic enhancements to slightly increase the strength of their five senses and reflexes, immensely increase their problem solving intelligence and taught to function even under intense pain, and are very Resistant to telepathic Force Attacks
  • Force Abilities (Force User Units Only): None
Strengths:
  • Guerilla Fighter: As Guerilla Fighters, they're impeccable, skillfully laying and hiding booby traps such as mines, det charges, and improvised munitions and explosives, harassing much better armed and numerous opponents, able to plant sabotage devices and lay complex, lethal traps for almost any enemy unit on a conventional basis, and equally skilled at disarming such traps. They can repair and operate nearly any Conventional fire arm they come across, no matter how relatively crude it is.
  • Surgical: Used offensively, they are very good in using shock and awe attacks on singular, well defended areas, or very powerful singular living targets, using overwhelming firepower on weak points, whether by their own weapons or calling in Artillery or air strikes. Single, living but highly dangerous targets such as Jedi are swarmed in large numbers, preferably by leading the Jedi into an enclosed area to make an easy escape highly unlikely, and fired on as much as possible from all angles until the Jedi is dead or they are
  • Mage Killer: Each Stormtrooper is given basic training in Anti Force Adept tactics, taught to shield their minds against telepathic assault, and are skilled in using weapons that are best in killing Force Adepts. Each has very basic training in Teras Kasi
  • Renard: These troopers are taught a special series of mental exercises that render them nearly unable to feel pain. This allows them to fight savagely even if severely injured and near death
  • Spider Sense: Mild genetic enhancements have increased their five senses far above normal, allowing them to sense minute changes in temperature, changes in nearby EM fields, seismic disturbances, increased hearing, taste (With a focus on detecting poisoned or spoiled food), and sense of smell (with a focus on detecting lethal chemicals and explosives) and Enhanced Sight and reflexes, all of which give them a great chance of sensing danger to the sides or behind.
  • Smart: Genetic Enhancements have heavily increased their problem solving intelligence, allowing them to learn and retain skills and experiences three times faster than normal. A Trooper that survives more than three battles becomes much more deadly by the Fourth battle. They are talented in employing Psychological Warfare
  • High Tech: Though perfectly capable of functioning and thriving in a low tech capacity, they are often equipped with deadly, advanced weapons and gadgets
  • Large Numbers: Large enough that they can fight as a conventional Force in an emergency
Weaknesses:
  • Not Vets: True pros can find ways around their tricks, and given that they are so new, they can make mistakes more well established Stormtrooper Corps would not, allowing openings to defeat them if they misjudge a situation
  • The deeper you go: The deeper they go into enemy territory, the more reliant they become on Artillery and airstrikes for truly hardened areas that may be blocking their way. Without those, they may struggle to find a safe path.
  • Surround Necessity: They lack truly sophisticated methods of destroying single, highly dangerous live targets like Force Adepts other than with relatively Brute Force approaches and often from afar. Getting up close to a Force Adept is something that's very dodgy for them except in desperation.
  • Way Paver: Their focus is as mass infantry shock units and scouts seizing and destroying hardened bases and harassing much larger forces with deadly hit and run tactics. Asking them to seize, say, an entire city would be a major struggle for them at their current skill level
  • More comfortable cornered: Though they can fight at a large conventional scale if necessary, they are much more comfortable conducting defensive war, and making it costly for enemies to assail a position they have taken
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The newly Commissioned House Io Stormtrooper Corps, made up entirely of Organics, is a deadly Infantry Organization formed by the House. Not focused on terrifying an enemy populace into submission, they focus more on vicious strikes on hardened targets such as Heavily fortified military bases, or using their large numbers and training to harass even larger forces with Guerilla Warfare, or killing single Force Adepts via shooting from every angle possible. Determined and Ruthless, House Io Stormtrooper Units are as Fanatical as any other properly trained Stormtrooper Corps in any other factions.
