What do you mean by homeworld thread?
As in dev thread for a new world, or just a thread that occurs on your homeworld?

If you are wanting to make a world, there is the section of the codex for that. If you are making a dev thread for your world there are many judges that will be happy and looking at you kindly. Welcome to the board and if you have any questions.
If you just want to do a thread on your characters homeworld you can do a public thread and meet some people while having some fun.

Depends on what the world is, if it's canon, make a Public thread in Open Roleplaying, if not and you wanna make it, use the Planet Creation section in the Codex

Planet creation can be fun! If you're looking for just any old homeworld though, I suggest Wookiepedia. So many obscure and interesting planets
