Dantooine
Open Fields
I looked all around me. The open plains of Dantooine were on many different levels of enjoyment. You had the wide open spaces, and then you had the very small platues that hid treasures such as caves and and even underground temples. It was here that I looked for a special item. One that I would need. Searching for the native Kinrath. A bug that was as large as a cat. or even bigger to be about half the size of a man. I needed to look for them, so I could track them back to their cave. I needed their eggs.
First I had to get close to an area where I might find them. And to get there fast, I rode on a speeder. The smooth dome of a helmet was over my head. Black and reflective like a mirror, I looked out as I sped by the lone trees and the few native fauna of the area.
I smiled as I slowed down. Coming to an edge, I pulled my speeder over towards it. And easily looked over the edge to find just what I needed. There were about five of the little buggers. All messing around. Smiling, I pulled off my helmet, Sat it on the seat of the speeder, and moved to the edge. I looked down as I reached slowly to the katana on my hip. I then took a step forwards to drop down as I drew the weapon.
In an instant, all of their beady eyes looked right at me. I smiled even brighter as I lashed out with the sword. Cutting off the legs of one only to kick it away from me, A punch with my left hand into the face of the second, and a slash to cut the third in half. Three down. two to go.
The other two rushed me. And with a force push, I sent them tumbing backwards and with one smacking into a tree, the other died from a concusion to the repetive hitting of its head on the ground. Without looking, I sheathed the sword, and looked for the cave entrance.
Clearing my face, I set forward to look inside.
