How hard can pulling a trigger be? (Canal)

Kyle made sure he arrived early to the shooting range. He didn't like Coruscant, especially the run-down areas like this. Too many memories and too much of the Republic. But this was important, so he was told. Learning to improve his shooting would make him a better mercenary, and he had arranged with someone who could teach him. How hard can pulling a trigger be? He thought to himself as he leaned upon the wall of the range. His head was down, but his eyes were looking out for the guy he had arranged this with. What was his name again?

Canal was contacted by someone who seemed like they needed help on pulling the trigger. How hard can it be to shoot a rifle? Well, that's something he couldn't judge cause there are a lot of people who can't shoot straight and don't how to use a gun. He arrived on Corusant from a gunship that is property of the Concord. He went to the location of where he was suppose to meet the guy. He didn't know what to bring. So he brought just his rifle and his black armor with the cool red visor on his helmet (profile pic) and saw the guy. There was no way he was going to take off his helmet cause at the moment there was a bounty on his head and he barely trusted anyone, except for his wife and the people of the Concord. "All righty then. I received your message and it turns out that you can't pull the trigger. Before we begin I want you to tell my why you can't do something that is so simple?" he stared at the man through his visor. Pretty young and he doesn't know how to shoot a rifle?

Kyle raised his right eyebrow at the armoured man. "I can shoot, just... Not perfectly y'know?" His eyes flickered sideways as he pushed himself from the wall to stand up straight, walking over to the standing area for shooting the targets, and picking up his rifle. "I'll show you what I mean." He said, and without anything else, he raised his rifle and fired a flurry of shots at the target. Upon looking at the human-shaped target, they had all hit the arms and legs, with only a few in the stomach. "Not exactly a sharpshooter." Kyle muttered as he lowered his rifle, looking at [member="Canal Tal'Verda"] .

Canal watched as the man shot his rifle at one of the targets. Yeah, now I know why he says he can't shoot perfectly. Canal was figuring out why the guy couldn't shoot his blaster rifle with great accuracy. But suddenly he figured out what was the problem. "Let me see how strong you are," Canal said to the man. He pulled out a table and grabbed two seats, one for him and one for his student. "We're going to play a wonderful game called arm wrestle. This will prove how strong you are. Cause in order to shoot a gun with precise accuracy you need physical strenght as well to maintain the recoil pf the gun." He motioned himto sit down. Canal was really strong cause everyday he would work out to toughen up his muscles of every part of his body. He sat down and waited for his tsudent to sit down so they could commence the arm battle.

Kyle placed his rifle back where he got it from, and sat down opposite the man. "I ain't the strongest out there." He muttered, placing his arm out on the table in the correct fashion, waiting for [member="Canal Tal'Verda"] to grab his hand and commence the 'wrestle'. It was obvious he was going to lose, he was fast, but he wasn't strong...

[member="Canal Tal'Verda"]

"I'm not testing if you're the strongest guy in the galaxy. I'm testing if you have the strengthof holding a gun and not let the recoil take control of your gun. Besides, I'm a strong guy and I'm pretty sure I'm not one of the strongest people out there " Canal took the man's hand and ready his arm just in case if the kid did had strength in him that could be equal or higher than Canal's strength. "You ready?" He wasn't going to commence the wrestle, "The wrestle will start when you make your move."

[member="Kyle Jerhal"]

Kyle tightened his grip on the man's hand, before pushing with all his strength to bring it down to the table. He struggled, as [member="Canal Tal'Verda"] was stronger than him, but he seemed to hold his own hand from the table for longer than expected. A small laugh came out as he pushed harder, but he lost his energy and his hand fell backwards, losing the wrestle. "Well... it went better than I thought..." Kyle tried to hide the fact that he lost by scratching his neck and looking away.

As Canal felt the man beginning to push his hand he responded by countering it and began pushing it with all of his strength as felt the man's strength that seemed to be all of his strength since he tried to push his hand harder and harder. In no time Canal pushed the man's hand at the surface of the table. "Well, I'm impressed. Not that many can resist the strength that you have just encountered. Now that I know how strong you are let's get back to target shooting," as he put away his chair and the table and waited for the man. "And before you start shooting I'm gonna show you a couple of techniques that can help you."

[member="Kyle Jerhal"]

Kyle grinned at his small achievement, before getting up and following the man. "This can only go well." He smirked, getting ready to be taught these 'techniques'.

[member="Canal Tal'Verda"]

"The technique isn't that hard to use, unless you are a weakilng," he said as he grabbed the man's assault rifle and gave it to him. Canal then grabbed his personal assault rifle so he could demonstrate how to use this technique. "First, what you want to do is to jam in your rifle into your shoulder. Not literally, but you want to jam it into your shoulder," as Canal took his own personal rifle and jammed it in hard into his right shoulder. It didn't hurt because he had armor on but even though he didn't it wouldn't hurt. "This allows you to take total control of your gun cause the recoil would go backwards and since the gun is in contact with your shoulder then there is barely any recoil. "Step number two: you want to have a tight grip on your gun with both hands so you can have more control. Step three: Aim with precision and never forget rule number one and two. Now watch." he said as he shifted his position towards a target and aimed at it with his assault rifle. He didn't need to do rule number one but he did so he could show the kid that rule number one did worked. He opened fire and continued firing until the mag was empty. He examined his results on the target and saw that all his slugs were in the area of the chest. Hopefully this works for the kid. He looked back at him and said, "Now let's see what you got."

[member="Kyle Jerhal"]

Kyle watched the technique closely, making a mental note of it. Once [member="Canal Tal'Verda"] had finished his shooting, Kyle lifted his rifle, jamming it into his shoulder and gripping it tightly with both hands. He looked down the sights of the rifle, then fired a burst of shots at the target. Upon inspection of the target, the shots mainly hit the chest and one even seemed to stray to the neck area. "Yes!" He cheered, getting rather excited and clapping the man on the soldier. "You're the best man!"

He smiled under his helmet as he saw the kid succeeded. But they weren't finish yet. "Thank me later, kid. Now you're going to do it but faster," he said as he quickly reloaded his rifle, did the rules, turned and fired without thinking or aiming. Once again, the results were good as he saw the slugs in the chest area of the target. "Now let's see of you can beat that."

[member="Kyle Jerhal"]

Kyle's expression of joy faded slightly, but he nodded and reloaded his rifle. Straight after reloading, he snapped the rifle up into position, following the rules, and fired shortly after. Looking at the results, they weren't as good as his initial ones, this time being a mixture of chest, arms and some which pentetrated the private area of the poor target man. "Ouch..." He grimmaced at the nutshot.
[member="Canal Tal'Verda"]

Canal simply just shooked his head. He wanted to laugh but he rather not. He needed to make this guy good at doing this. "Again," was just the only thing he said from his mouth. He would make this man do the same thing over and over again until he met up to Canal's level.

Kyle loaded again, swiftly bringing his rifle up into position again and firing. This time, he had hit more of the chest area, and some even hit the neck, with only one or two at the arms. "How about that?" He smirked, looking between [member="Canal Tal'Verda"] and his target.

"I'll accept that. But now let's see if you can shoot at moving targets," he said as he went over and pressed a button. Then all the targets were now moving horizontally. But that seemed easy, instead he pressed another button and soon the targets were moving in all directions and stopping at certain times.

[member="Kyle Jerhal"]

Kyle reloaded, raising his rifle again and beginning to fire. His first few shots missed, but then he started getting the odd hit either on the arm of outer chest of the targets. He was concentrating hard, flicking between targets as he shot at them quickly. Once his mag was empty, it seemed he had mainly hit the arms and chest equally. "Hmm..." He exhaled, looking at them all.

[member="Canal Tal'Verda"]

Kyle caught the mag, loading and snapping the rifle up into position, firing at the moving targets. Afterwards, he grinned, as the had all been chest shots, with some at the neck, and one even square in the head. "That's more like it!" He cheered, looking at [member="Canal Tal'Verda"]
