How to command lightning 101 (Ulgra)

Naga waited in the coliseum of Mythos's temple, this was the first time in his newly appointed knighthood teaching so he was interested in seeing the new prospect he summoned for training. He knew that with the training he has in mind that this new student will prove quite a powerful beast for those that oppose her...even more so given what she is, He sat down in one of the stone chairs and waited for her.

So this was it. Finally to be trained by the Sith in the ways of the darkside. While in the past she may have not cared as much now, after being woken from a long, cold sleep, Ulgra wanted this. From what she'd gathered about this new time in the galaxy things had become darker and far more harsh.Things had changed and now so did she. Gone was the Gen'Dai girl who desired peace. Now she needed something else: power.

Coming to the Mythos Temple she made her way, being directed when she implied her reason for being their, towards the colosseum area. She could already see him. [member="Naga Itesak"] , the one who she was told would teach her. He was what she expected from a Sith. Black of robes with an air of skill and evil about him.

She came up to him and towered over the Sith, arms crossed, and merley looked with her violet eyes beaming at him.

Naga saw the large beast before him...so this was the gen'dai he heard about, He heard storys of there power espically from his former master Mythos in regards to his fight against kezeroth. They truly are an impressive species. His red eyes glowed from behind his mask his form was hidden under the armor so the species of this man was yet to be determined to the new comers. He spoke in a deep tone to the gen'dai "What is your name..."

His first question. An obvious one. She kept her composure before answering "Ulgra." She awaited him to give his next, but not before her eyes almost glowed with emotion. Ether she was annoyed by him already or it was something else. Either way it was clear she was not the sort of girl to trifle with.

He noted her emotion flare for a moment...this will prove interesting indeed for someone like her. " welcome [member="Ulgra"] to my old masters temple" He got up from his chair and walked down to her his form seemed to shifted shedding the armor he was wearing until he became a Tuk'ata and leaped over to another high spot so that he would continue eye contact with her before continuing to talk to her in her mind now" I will teach you certain gifts that i have learned when i was once like you....we will start with lightning the common power among all of our order, The art of controlling lightning." When he said that and with a whip of his tail against the wall several cages dropped holding various prisoners within. "These will be your targets......To first use lightning though one must experience it first hand and use that power and send it outward" With that said naga sent a blast of lightning at her it was painful but not enough to cause permanent harm

[member="Naga Itesak"] proved to be nimble, something Ulgra knew she lacked and would never gain. The Gen'Dai were far to big to ever be anything more than walking hulks. Being quiet and subtle wasn't any sort of strong point for them. Still Naga has his advantages as she had hers. She continued to watch as he leaped from place to place before bringing down cages filled with prisoners. She heard him explain the use of lightning before telling how they would be targets and she would need to feel the pain first. Before she knew it he sent a bolt at her, striking right in the middle of her chest. She yelped and clutched the spot before laughing it off.

With a grin she taunted "That the best you can do?"

Naga chuckled before speaking again " Use the energy that i just sent through your veins.. fire it upon the prisoners you see before you" He wanted to see how quickly this one will learn before moving on to the next step. [member="Ulgra"]

She breathed, letting the pain subside for now, as she turned her attention to the cowering prisoners. They all heard what [member="Naga Itesak"] had said, and knew she was going to try to do the same to them. Her eyes glared as she raised her hand, trying to imagine using the same sort of power. It was slow at first but small sparks soon began to shoot from her fingertips. Her own fingers twitched before finally, aiming at one of the cages, a bolt went out. It was weak, however, only giving the prisoner a mild shock at best. Nothing to hurt but enough to make him groggy. Ulgra, on the other hand, shook her hand from the unnatural feeling she had from it.

Naga saw with a mild twisted chuckle being heard as he leaped to another pillar and took the form of a simple maalra but the one feature was every one of his forms took a pitch black appearance." you are doing well....Try again...draw on the power of the darkside around you and let your rage be the fuel "

The slight numb feeling in her hand started to fade away as [member="Naga Itesak"] told her to try again. She huffed a breath before bringing her hand up again. The prisoner, seeing this, tried to plea for his life but Ulgra would not listen. She tried again, focusing on the darkside as he told her. Her rage needed to be the fuel. She could think of plenty of things that angered her. The biggest being her time of torture under the Imperial scientists. It was enough to create a more powerful blast. It struck, not killing the man, but making him scream in pain before falling back. The slight sound of singeing flesh could be heard when everything calmed.

Naga took a humanoid shape again and clapped pleased by this result " Good very good...with more practice you can attack multiple opponents in a storm of lightning.......i see a greatness in you that will make the jedi and those who oppose you tremble in fear" [member="Ulgra"]

As the prisoner lay breathing heavily from his wound Ulgra looked down at her hand and the power she was able to summon. As [member="Naga Itesak"] spoke she only continued to look down, hearing his words of how she would be powerful enough that the Jedi would fear her. With that she huffed and only said "More than Jedi..." After that she turned back and asked "What now?"

Naga chuckled again" So quick to learn aren't we....for now practice what i have given you....should you choose to learn more from me ...well...you know how to get ahold of me, but for now we shall stop." [member="Ulgra"]

That wasn't a satisfying enough answer. She sneered at him before turning her attention back to the prisoner who was half-dead now. She raised her hand and, focusing more, unleashed a heavier bolt of force lightning at him. Either because this one was stronger or because the prisoner had barley any life left in him, this attack managed to give the finishing blow. He fell to the floor of his cage, dead, with the force lightning having taken what remained of his life from him. The Gen'Dai turned to [member="Naga Itesak"] to show how serious she was.

"More. Now!" she demanded.

....." So you wish to learn more eh?.......so be it..." His tone was more serious and sterner then before as if the gen'dai's demand annoyed him. "Given you have taken a life already then i shall teach you how to reanimate the dead to your will....Concentrate on the corpse before you....fill it with the dark energy around you and command it to walk once more..." She wanted to learn more .....then so be it. [member="Ulgra"]

He became more serious in tone. Good. That meant he was going to teach her again, and possibly something harder or far more painful. She could take it. She wanted to. He pointed to the dead man, telling her to bring it back. An odd point to jump onto it seemed, but if that was what he wanted then fine. Ulgra walked away to the cage, opening it and dragging out the dead man's corpse. She looked down at the remains before looking back to [member="Naga Itesak"] , remembering what his instructions were.

She closed her eyes and put her hand on the corpse, trying to summon dark energy to make it rise up from it's state. Nothing worked at first. It just laid there, dead. It annoyed her that this trick was harder to attempt than the last, especially given how easily it felt just to build emotions from within to conjure such power.

Naga chuckled again....this wasnt a simple technique as lightning was. "Try again meditate on the darkside let it course through your veins like a river, Focus on the corpse before you let the darkside fill every nerve and vein in its body and command it to bring life back into the corpse."

[member="Ulgra"]

Despite his words she was still annoyed about the fact it didn't work. She tried to calm herself, taking his advice and letting the darkside flow out of her and into the dead body. She had her hand still on it as she tried again, taking deep breaths and letting things ease their way through her. Eventually the corpse began to react, fingers twitching and eyes starting to flutter open. She looked as saw as it rose, dead yet moving and trying to breath new life. A moment later, however, it felt back and eventually went limp again. Whatever power she managed to conjure into the body had passed, making it all dead again.

"you where close.....now try again remember what i showed you." She showed promise in this training session how ever this was not a easy technique to learn and with his teaching she will learn how to use this power well. [member="Ulgra"]

"I've tried..." she said with a somber tone. The Gen'Dai stood, breathing a little heavy. Whatever she'd done had taken a bit out of her from her training. Both this and using the force lightning for the first time was a toll enough on it's own. She took another breath before saying "We're done...for now." Before turning to walk off, leaving the corpse where it was.
