How To Kill Paradise

Abril

The winds of the planet stir her hair. Swarming the air like a group of octopi.
The smell of burning flesh rises into the air, after a quick swing of the laser. She floats above the ground, crushing the lives of the ones she won't spare. No mercy. Just rage.
The red colour of blood flows down the rocks like an oil painting. She enjoys the rampage while wiping the blood away from her lips.

She sent a call to the Force to anyone listening "Fight me"

"Fight you? Gladly." A dark whisper responded to the call, barely a whisper in the breeze. There was a thud as something small hit the ground, then repeated. And repeated. It was a rythmic tapping coming from her left, hollow and echoing.

As if from the shadows themselves a figure in black stepped out, hobbled and leaning on the source of the tapping. A cane. A single icy blue eye peered from the black folds of his robe as he eyed the woman stained in blood. "You called for a fight, yes? Perhaps I can be worth your time."

Muyin smirked to himself. "A challenge? Yes." Muyin, Darth Imperium, stepped from the shadows and looked at both Sith Lords. The tall Chiss Sith smirked. He pulled his hood down from his head, exposing his piercing red eyes and blue skin and dark hair.

"So, what are the rules of engagement?" He asked as he drew his Lightsaber.

a voice carried by the wind made it's way into Abril's ear. Interesting. He was up for a fight. The red skinned man was visible in front of her. He was one of low stature, but powerful indeed.
Abril did not fear him. But then, yet another figure came into view. They would all want to fight.

Abril drew her lightsabres and proclaimed

"We shall not kill! We shall not stop before limbs are lost or we are unable to continue!" The arrogant girl said to the siths

The atmosphere was charged. Voices echoed in an inaudible chorus around him. Half stunned and half mesmerized, he picked his battered body from the shadows of the wreckage. Was he here by chance or was it destined to unfold, Dredan limped toward the others as if being lured by some invisible force.

‘Fight me’ the words hissed around his subconscious, ringing in his ears until he could barely keep his eyes open. A haze of fog settled over him. Was he even really there. The woman with two sabers continued to speak but the words were drowned out by the frantic rhythm of his heart.

The charge of Sabers sent him stumbling backward. He was not ready for this. He had no saber, no instruction. “Might I just observe?” He spoke nervously into the gracious amount of space he had placed between them.

"You may, and I shall as well. This is not the sort of fight I was expecting. Before us is a scene of murder and dismay, bodies piling of innocence killed. Yet when faced with a challenge this young Sith refuses death, refuses even bodily harm. These two may duke it out under such restraints if they wish." The elder man walked up beside [member="Dredan Criesta"] , his cane clicking along the ground. His blue gaze traveled over to [member="Abril"] and [member="Darth Imperium"] , a frown settled on his lips. Oh how the Sith had changed.

His gaze would fall back to the man who had arrived late, curious. Untrained, yet able to follow a call so easily. "What is your name?"

"You think to talk down to me will increase your chances? I mean you seem old and cranky, maybe that's your only option" she laughed it off. Abril looked at the Sith with the cane and then back at [member="Darth Imperium"]. Frail.

"However, you made me reconsider the fight. Fine. Let's do it by your rules, old man." She couldn't finish the sentence before yet another opponent entered the dance. Who is this? She sensed the power in him, untapped but still power.

"Very well, I shall let you watch if you want" she said before continuing

"You [member="Darth Imperium"], attack me when you're ready." she said as she got into a guard and prepared her mind for fight. Let there be blood

Dredan turned his attention to the man with the cane. Dredan was in over his head but at least this being seemed less of a threat. "Are any of us really innocent? And if we are not then why does it matter that so much blood has been spilled to the ground?" He posed the question to his monologue. He let the thoughts swarm around his mind, drawing connections, connecting the dots until there was a tangible thought. "If one can kill mercilessly, ought they be willing to accept the same fate? If I choose to fight I realize I may die.....probably will die."

The story had always been light and dark, good versus evil. Dredan saw something in that moment that was neither. He saw acceptance of fate. "Dredan, Dredan Criesta. How exactly have the Sith changed?" His brown eyes lingered over the man's cane. Would he have really fought with such odds against him? "What calling do you speak of?"

As he finished speaking the woman had turned her attention to them. She was obviously up for the challenge but Dredan was glad to be left out of the crossfire. "I will just sit right here." He nodded as he scooted himself a little bit further from the challenge.

The Zabrak raised a brow as he stared down to [member="Dredan Criesta"] . "Are you reading my mind boy? You should know better then to get into your elders head." He chuckled a bit as he spoke. Not often someone could read his personal thoughts. His mind closed off then, his gaze turning back to [member="Abril"] and [member="Darth Imperium"] as they were to begin. "The Sith have changed and allowed the young and foolish to think they can speak to their betters with disrespect. We shall watch and see how this arrogance will shape. And in turn, we shall see your place in all this."

"You call me your legacy? I am nothing compared to you. You are scum and decay. I am the wind, the waves, the kill at midnight. I will change the way you use the Force. As I am no Sith." she paused as she looked at the sith elder. She did not think lightly of him. She took off her hood and revealed her face. Her lightsabres scorching the grass around her.

"I'll let you know, you're not my elder. You are of no concern to me. You disgust me." she shouted in the face of the man. In a swift wind blow, she spit at him. Looking right into his eyes, she smirked.

"I might have been. I don't entirely know." He was taken by surprise. He hadn't realized that he was reading anything aside from the verbal conversation. "Doesn't every faction or group go through similar changes. The old die out leaving the young and able to pick up the pieces to traverse onward?" He kept eye contact with [member="Krest"] despite the challenge from [member="Abril"] .She was clearly passionate about the situation. It drew Dredan in like a moth to flame. "You are not a Sith? That makes two of us then." Dredan's eyes fell over the woman with dual swords. They buzzed to life, leaving scars upon the grass. He followed the end of the saber the ground where his eyes lingered in awe.

"Neither Sith. Hmm.." Krest hadn't so much as moved as the spit came, and the little bit of liquid [member="Abril"] sent his way froze in air and evaporated. Casually the elder man turned his head to her. "Careful now, you'll cut yourself on that edge you hide behind." He would continue to lean on his cane, now frowning as the scene was beginning to play before him. The fool who insults all around her ignoring potential consequences. The young impressionable watching in awe at all happening around him. The old man who only wanted to watch.

A showoff as much as herself, the Sith lord evaporated the spit. Hmph. This frail old piece of junk is worth nothing to her. She would continue moving around them with her lightsabres out keeping them at arms distance. She wasn't afraid. She felt powerful. She could kill the young man with a quick swift of her fingers, knowing that the Sith Lord would quickly dispose of her. He had taken an interest in the boy, trying to lure him presumably. Abril would let him, what could happen? Worst case for her is to kill them. Not a simple job to be sure but not much of a hassle either.

"Hey you!" she said to the young man standing there, trying to get his attention.

"How would you like to try one of these lightsabers against me?" she paused "The first one to lose a limb loses!" she said as she turned off her left lightsaber and threw it towards him.

The saber hurled through the air in slow motion. Dredan instinctively stood with an outstretched hand, his eyes trained on [member="Abril"] as the saber hit his palm and sparked to life. "I...." He looked deeply at the crimson lit blade. It was beautiful and it called to him. He had never held one let alone feel the power in his grip. He looked at [member="Krest"] as if the sith should give an approving nod. "I am no Sith." He turned his gaze back to the rogue. Her challenge was one he could not ignore and yet one he longed to forget.

He twirled the saber slowly, testing his ability as he walked toward [member="Abril"] . His limping evident as well as the bruises littering his exposed flesh. A glance toward his crashed vessel told the story of his arrival masked by challenges and the death of innocence.

Dredan elevated the blade, taking a stance against the rogue.

[member="Dredan Criesta"] took the sabre in his arm. Like he had done it years prior. He seemed confident in his ability to duel as he twirled the sabre around his body. He came closer to Abril.
She stood still watching the man come closer. She smirked and threw her crimson cloak on the ground revealing the rest of her body. She took her lightsaber and placed it in her right arm. She elevated it higher than her head and prepared for a swing attack.
She ran towards the man and glided under him attempting to cut his left arm off. She got up behind to look at what she had done. She jumped a few meter behind as to be safe in case she missed. She put her lightsaber lower and made a guard.

He wasn't ready, how could he be? As she charged forward on the wings fate he felt the sting, the burn of the crimson blade searing through flesh. He set his jaw and knelt to the ground cradling the absence of flesh. the smell of burnt skin hit him next. He had lost just as he suspected but he did not turn down the challenge. His pride was worth more than limb.

He glared up at the rogue, [member="Abril"] . "You have won. Are you going to end this by killing me or am I to be spared?" Dredan flexed his right hand, noting how the discarded blade moved.

"What becomes of the old man?" He nodded at [member="Krest"] .

Krest sighed again as he went to sit down, setting his cane across his lap. He would watch what [member="Abril"] and [member="Dredan Criesta"] do what they would for the time being. He was curious on what they both could do, specifically the more untrained one. Krest watched with the same frown he had made before. But as soon as it began it was over. He couldn't help but laugh as it happened, simply amazed at how quick it was ended.

"Heh, a wonderful show of skill against an untrained target."

"I have won you say?" she says while circling around him with her lightsaber in her right arm, twirling around in her hand. She looked in his eyes, pain. This reminded her of her mother. Begging for mercy. She was unsure if she wanted to kill or to spare.

"Hmph, you see that lightsaber? The one you just held. Use the arm I chopped off to get it back in your other arm" she said.

This was insanity. He lost his arm. How could he use it?

"I said try"
